it's obvious you're not who you're trying to be
self loathing and expecting love in the third degree
keep talking big and feeling small
hoping to feel any love at all
but don't you get that that's not for you
nah you're destined to be alone
with no one on the other side of the phone
feeling that pain in every bone
that mask that you put up
will it ever come down
i know you're dying to be the one in a crown
under accomplished and losing time
your waste of life is your biggest crime
forever awaiting your time to shine and watching the years tick by
cuz how could you accomplish more in a world where you're unimportant
