i know i love him
so i'm wasting time
trying to find the words
but nothing feels right
i'm too scared to tell the truth
so i hide my heart
until it's ready to love
but it's tearing me apart
i wonder if he can tell
how i'm lying and overwhelmed
trying hard to break his spell
all while hiding how hard i fell
praying i don't break my shell
but by his laughter i'm compelled
i think it's a lie i can't sell
i'm too scared to tell the truth
i'm not sure i'm ready to love
how do i know if he's the one?
will he love me when it's push or shove?
i know i love him
i'm just wasting time
it's something anyone can see
