Kaitlyn's POV

I was in a recording studio. I was pretty much constantly being yelled at by everyone for not having songs out. I had written 8, so I decided it would be a good idea to just have an EP as my first release.

Shawn was in Mexico. He was having a performance there. I was missing him. What if something happened to him? I don't like not being with him. Call me clingy, I don't care. I just want him to be safe.

I had been in the studio all week and have gotten 4 songs done. I was halfway there.

"Okay, what are you recording next?"

"A song called How To Date Seriously. I wrote it for one of my exes. I think it should be a single but I don't know for sure."

"Do you need the band in there?"

"Probably, but I don't have plans written up for them."

"Okay, play it for us and take a break while we figure that out then."

"Okay."

I walked over and picked up my guitar; the one Louis got me. I put the capo on the third fret and checked to make sure that the strings weren't muted. I cleared my throat and smiled.

The group huddled together. One of them shooed me away. I stepped out of the room and called Shawn. The phone rang and rang and rang. He didn't pick up. I called Aaliyah and she picked up.

"Hey Kaitlyn. Is something up?"

"Other than the fact that Shawn won't pick up the phone, no. How are the girls?"
