I woke up to an empty bed. I was confused as to where Shawn was until I realized that today was the big day. Probably the biggest day of my life. My wedding day.

After realizing that I then wondered where Jessica was, so I walked out of the room to look for her. I found her in the kitchen, talking to the girls. When she noticed me she smiled.

"Okay, sleeping beauty is up. Let's go before the boys get here."

"What do you mean sleeping beauty?" I asked.

"It's 11 o'clock. We've got to go. The ceremony starts at 2. Get shoes on."

We got to the venue and Jessica pulled me into a room. She sat me down in a chair. I had some makeup artist doing my makeup and there was a hair stylist doing my hair. Jessica started painting my nails.

"Would we call Aaliyah a bridesmaid or a junior bridesmaid? I mean... there aren't any parties she can't go to. Why wouldn't she be able to be a bridesmaid, right?" I asked.

"Right," Jessica said.

I stayed quiet and obeyed what people told me to do. It was quite hectic having one of them want my head one way while the other one wanted my head in the other direction. When the makeup artist was done she smiled at her work. "You look fantastic." I smiled at her.

The bridesmaids walked into the room in their dresses. They were a beep blue, reached the ankle, and had a strap holding the dress up and another one hanging off the shoulder. The girls looked gorgeous. The bridesmaids all had their hair curled and flowing down their backs. They all smiled at me.

When Jessica finished painting my toes she went out to get her dress on. The hair stylist said I was done and told me to go put my dress on. I went into the changing room of the venue and got into the dress. I was getting ready at the venue because Shawn claimed the house. We're going to my family's cabin for the ceremony. We thought it appropriate for us to get married in the woods. When I walked back in my mom was standing in the room. She saw me and she started crying. She covered her mouth with both of her hands.

"Mom, you can't cry! If you cry, I cry, and if I cry then Jenna will cry!" I exclaimed, blinking back tears.

"Who's Jenna?" my mom whispered as she pulled me into a hug.

"The one that did my makeup," I whispered back. She chuckled, wiping her eyes. She pulled away and smiled at me.

"Alright, you ready to see yourself?" Jessica asked. She was standing by a mirror that was turned around so you couldn't see your reflection. I took a shaky breath in and nodded at her. She turned the mirror around and I automatically teared up.

My hair was curled and some of it was braided. I didn't know that my hair could make such beautiful shapes. I looked at my dress. I looked like a princess. The torso of the dress was designed with a white floral pattern that continued a little past my hips. The dress puffed out at my hips and flowed all the way to the ground. Aaliyah walked up to me and put a tiara on my head. The tiara was attached to a veil. I let out a breathy laugh.

"Wow," I said. I was speechless. I turned to the makeup artist and the stylist. "Thank you guys so much." They both smiled and nodded before walking out of the room. That's when it hit that I was getting married. I started fanning my eyes and all of the girls rushed around me.
