Kaitlyn's POV
"Shawn, come on come on come on," I exclaimed while pulling Shawn into the cabin. Shawn looked really happy. I was glad to be here with him. It's like we haven't been away for years when it's really only been a few months. I got on my toes and kissed him. He chuckled.
"You're short," he smiled. I rolled my eyes. "I love it"
"Well you do seem to love everything about me," I smiled.
"I do. Don't you forget that." He kissed my forehead. "You wanna go hunting."
"Will you stop reading my thoughts please?" I laughed. He nodded.

I was getting ready for bed now. Shawn 'brainstorming song ideas'. He turned our connection off; I couldn't feel what he felt or hear what he thought. I'm not able to do that, only males can.
I walked into the cabin's bedroom to see Shawn lying down with his eyes fixed on a spot on the ceiling. I sat down on the opposite side and he glanced at me. He looked back up at the ceiling and smiled. He chuckled a little before looking back down at me.
"I don't deserve such a beautiful angel to be mine," he said. I leaned over and pressed a kiss on his lips.
"Sir, that is where you are wrong. I don't deserve such a handsome gentleman to be mine," I said softly.
"I love you," Shawn said, smiling so big his teeth showed.
"I love you too." I got under the sheets and closed my eyes. I felt Shawn slip behind me and I cuddled up to him.
"Goodnight princess," Shawn whispered.
"Goodnight Prince Charming."

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I reached over and picked it up to see that it was Jessica. I answered it and put it up to my ear to hear babies crying.
"Jess?"
"Help me, I can't get them to stop," she panicked.
"Uh when was the last time they were fed?"
"About 30 minutes ago," she said, more calm.
"What's wrong," I heard Shawn's groggy voice ask from behind me.
"The girls are crying and Jess can't get it to stop. Jess have you changed their diapers?"
"Yup," she answered.
"And they're not tired," I added, glancing at the clock.
"Not that I know of."
"Will you put me on speaker," I asked.
"You're on speaker," Jess sighed, sounding tired, defeated, and sad.
"Hey baby girls," I started, my baby voice prominent, "It's mommy. Do you miss me?" I heard the crying stop.
