Chapter Sixteen

Kaitlyn's POV

I called Anna to get her to babysit. When she got here she was with Kysha and Kendra. I looked at Kysha.

"I'm so sorry," I said. She came over and hugged me softly.

"It's okay," Kysha said. She pulled away quickly. I know she wasn't a hugger, so it didn't surprise me.

"The girls are in the living room. You know where stuff is. Wake me up if you need something. I'm gonna try to make it up the stairs with crutches," I chuckled.

After a few failed attempts. I finally found an effective way of getting up the stairs. I stood in one place for a second. It was a bit of a workout. I walked to the room and went inside. Shawn was laying awake, staring at the ceiling.

"You break every bone in your body when you transform to a wolf, then you heal again when you turn human. Couldn't you turn into a wolf and then turn human again and be healed?" Shawn asked.

"Technically that would only heal my foot and my hand, not my tendon. I would still have to wear the boot and not put pressure on my leg."

"Could you heal yourself with the angels form?" Shawn questioned, still staring at the ceiling.

"Nope. I can only heal other people."

"Well that sounds like something an angel would do." Shawn finally looked over at me. He looked a little better. His hair was messed up and the dark circles were still under his eyes. I walked over and set my crutches down. I sat on the bed and then found a comfortable way to lay. Shawn cuddled up to me and heat radiated off his body. I relaxed and soon drifted to sleep.

When I woke up, Shawn was out cold. I'm sure that if you were to scream at him he wouldn't wake up. That was good in all ways. I looked at the clock to see that it was seven o'clock. I was a bit hungry. I lifted Shawn's arm off me and softly set it on the bed. I picked up my crutches and stood up, walking towards the door.

I went down the stairs to see Kysha, Kendra, Aaliyah, and Scarlett eating pizza. I smiled.

"I want pizza," I exclaimed, acting hurt. I swear Aaliyah's head moved at a million miles an hour to turn and look at me when she heard my voice. Her surprised face turned to a smile as she fell off her chair. I laughed. She scrambled over to me and hugged me.

"You need to tell me what's happened while I was at Scarlett's house. I saw that the tour was postponed because you were in a coma," she said. I nodded.

"Well, since you have been at Scarlett's house, a lot has happened. Uhm, Luke and Jessica got together. Jessica's crazy ex boyfriend kidnapped her and started severing her vocal chords. Jessica then had to get her vocal chords removed. I got my alpha wolf and my angel form. I healed Jessica of her voice severed-ness. The twins started walking and taking. Shawn proposed-"

"WAIT, WHAT?" Aaliyah asked. She grabbed my hand and admired the ring. "Oh my gosh, we're going to be sisters," she said. I smiled. "Okay, continue."

"Shawn killed someone. Then I got hit by a car. I was in a coma for three weeks. When I woke up, I found out Shawn filmed the There's Nothing Holdin Me Back music video with Ellie Bamber and so when I got out of the hospital I went to Australia for four days with Jessica. Jessica stayed in Australia." Aaliyah nodded, taking in the information. "But I have to hurry, because I don't want Shawn to wake up and have me gone. I'm going to take a piece of pizza and I'll be outside on the phone with Alex." I grabbed a slice of pizza and then walked outside. I clicked on Alex's contact and he picked up a few seconds later.
