Jessica's POV

Shawn and Kaitlyn got married two days ago. They were on their honeymoon in Paris. I was told not to contact them at all for the whole week, so I didn't, even though I really needed to. I couldn't disturb them with the information that I was about to receive, but if I had, I probably would have saved lives.

It was a normal day, other than the fact that I was watching the twins. Luke came over early and woke me up. I went into the bathroom and started to brush my teeth. My phone started ringing on my bed and I had Luke answer it for me. His eyebrows furrowed and he started walking towards me. I spit the toothpaste out of my mouth and grabbed the phone from him.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is the London Police. Is this Jessica?"

"This is she."

"We called to tell you that Luca Wainwright has escaped from prison and we're trying to find him."

"Okay, thank you." I hung up and set my phone down before running up and hugging Luke. Luke held me tight and supported my weight. I cried on his shoulder. My brain started becoming fuzzy and memories of Luca came flooding back.

*flashback*

"Luca, I can't do this anymore. It's exhausting." Luca turned back to look at me.

"What do you mean?" Luca exclaimed, beginning to become enraged.

"I have done everything for you. I've been loyal and I've done the things you tell me to do. I through with it all. I'm breaking up with you, Luca. And we aren't getting back together." Luca's face fell but then became angry. He stepped towards me. I stood my ground and made myself larger.

"You'll be back. Just watch. You will be the one running back to me."

"Oh, come on. Are we The United States and England? You might as well be singing 'You'll Be Back' from Hamilton. What are you going to do, kill my friends and family to remind me of your love? You're ridiculous." Luca stood there for a minute. He stormed out of the house and drove away.

*end flashback*

"What did they say?" I pulled out of the hug for a second. I couldn't look at his eyes, so I looked down at his feet.

"Luca escaped." Luke pulled me close, tighter this time. I sobbed into his shoulder

"Do you want to call Kait-"

"NO! I could never do that. Ever."

I heard the door open and I pulled away from Luke. One of the girls walked in. I wiped my eyes.

"Jessica, I'm hungry," she wined. I took her hand and pulled her over to the kitchen. I put some waffles into the toaster and warmed them up. When they were ready, I handed them to the girls. I put my face in my hands and rested my elbows on the counter. Luke walked up behind me and started rubbing my back. I looked at him with a sigh.

"I have to go see my family. I have to see if they're okay. I can't take the girls. I don't know what to do," I said inaudibly. My eyes started filling with tears again.
