Kaitlyn's POV

At this point everyone was drunk. I took the bottle away from Len and put it on his drink cabinet. I took everyone's shot glasses. When I got to Shawn he was pulling himself another drink. He chugged it down. As he started to pour another one I grabbed the bottle from him.

"Hey," he declared. I put the bottle on the shelf. He drank what was in his cup and went to reach for the bottle again. I grabbed his glass from his hand and blocked the bottle. He looked at me with puppy dog eyes. I shook my head. "But I'm not even that drunk! See look. I can walk in a straight line." Shawn took a few jumbled steps, tripping over his own feet. I caught him before he fell. He looked into my eyes and smiled. "Did I ever tell you I love your eyes?" Shawn slurred. I hummed.

"You still aren't getting anymore drinks." His smile fell to a pout.

"I don't like you." He stuck his tongue out at me.

I sighed as he went over to the couch. I sat on one of the couches and Shawn sat next to me. He laid his head on my lap and was out cold. Luke sat next to Jessica.

"I'm totally drunk." Luke chuckled. Jessica nodded.

"Luke, you should be getting back to the hotel. I'll drive you there."

_____

We were now in Toronto. It was Shawn's birthday. I wanted to do something big. Heh. Something Big. Aaliyah was flying out. We are staying in the Mendes family flat. It was originally bought for Shawn, but we bought a house.

Shawn was still in bed. I got up and checked on the twins. They now looked about 3. The past few days they've been hitting and spitting. I still don't know where they get that from. They were still asleep.

I went into the kitchen and started making chocolate chip muffins. When I got them in the oven, I made pancakes, scrambled eggs, and coffee. When the muffins were done, I pulled them out. I made two plates and went to wake Shawn up.

"Shawn," I said softly. I laid back in bed. He hummed in response. "Happy birthday." He moved his head to kiss my shoulder. "I made you breakfast. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, coffee and chocolate chip muffins." His eyes flashed opened and he sat up.

"Good, I'm so hungry." He jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen. I shook my head. He's a child, I swear. And now he's nineteen. Will he ever grow out of it?

I walked out behind him. He sat at the bar and started handing him a plate. I pulled it away as he went to reach for it. He looked at me confused.

"Put a shirt on," I said. I sounded like a mom.

"But Kaitlyn," Shawn whined. "I don't want to."

"Then you aren't getting food." I said, trying my hardest not to look down at his bare chest.

"Oh, I get it. You're distracted by my abs." Shawn smirked.

"No, it's just... fine, you can leave it off." I handed him his plate of food and took my place next to him.

"After this do we get to go back to bed?" Shawn asked with a mouth full of pancakes.
