We all went round to Jemma's and watched a few films and I looked at my phone and saw it was 7:30. "Shit" I said as I stood up and ran downstairs. "Where are you going?!" They all asked. "Sorry! I'm late I need to go!" I said putting my shoes on. I had like twenty missed calls from Shawn, he must be so mad. I ran out the house and ran to where Shawn wanted to meet me.
(Phone call:)
MALIA: SHAWN I'M SO FUCKING SORRY!
SHAWN: Malia, it's fine! Honestly!
MALIA: okay well I'm only a few minutes away.
SHAWN: okay well see you then.
We put the phone down as I started to walk a bit quicker.
I finally made it and I saw Shawn standing there. "Hey" He said with a huge smile. "Hey" I replied as I hugged him. "I'm so sorry! I just got carried away with the film" I said. "Malia it's fine!" Shawn said holding my hand. "So where are we going?" I asked. "Follow me" He said. "Um that doesn't sound creepy as you lead me into the dark woods where most murders happen in films" I said. "It's fine don't worry, I'm with you" Shawn said. We walked for what seemed like forever until I stared to see some lights. "What's that?" I asked. I then looked closer and saw that it was a fun fair. "Shawn! This is beautiful!" I said looking around. Many other people were walking around, holding hot chocolate, cotton candy and other food. All the trees were lit up and the Ferris wheel was all lit up with lights making it the main ride. There was stalls up selling food and drinks and it was the perfect place for w first date. "Shawn... I'm... wow this is amazing" I said speechless. "I'm glad you like it" He said putting his arm round me as we walked in. We went on many rides and took a few photos together. We finished the night with a ride on the Ferris wheel. We reached the top and the ride stopped. "Shawn!" I said. "It's fine, I gave the guy and extra $10 so we could have a few minutes alone up here" he said placing his arm round me. I looked into his eyes as he looked into mine. "Thank you for the most amazing night" I said. "My pleasure" He said. He then kissed me on the lips slow but sweetly.
