5.Oh Baby

I woke up to 23 missed notifications. As I unlocked my phone with my thumb and slid down my notification bar I noticed 10 missed calls from my mom, 6 from my dad, 6 from my brother-n-law, and 1 from Blake. I called my mom back.

*my moms name is Monica*

M: "hello Aubrey." She sounded upset and nervous.

A: "mom what's wrong?"

M: "Aubrey your sister went into labor and she wants you here. She went into labor about 4 hours ago do you think you can get a plan here?"

A: "uhhh yea I can do that. Tell her I'm so sorry and I'm on my way." I hung up and grabbed my clothes from all over Blake's bedroom. I put everything in my bag and ran through the garage and got into my car and left. While I was driving I texted Blake.

*in text*

A:" hey babe. My sister went into labor and I have to go to Carolina. I'm so sorry babe. I'm really sorry. I can't get your parents tonight from the airport. " I pulled up to my condo as I sent the text. I ran in and grabbed so many pants and shirts and a few good outfits. As I was locking my door Blake texted me back.

B: "F*** .ummmm it's going to take you like 6 hours to get there so I have a jet waiting for you at LAX it's under the name Blake Griffin's Girl." I smiled and kept reading. " no worries babe I'll have the car service pick them up and text me when you land. Love you babe."

A: "babe thank you so much! You really didn't have to do that. I love you too." Again I'm so sorry babe." I Locked my phone and drove to the airport. I walked in checked in and got on the jet all alone.

*in Carolina*

I my mom pick me up and were now at the hospital. My sisters name is Carrie and she is 23 and is married to NFL player Cam Newton.

I entered the room. "Hey sissy. I'm here . I love you." My niece Kaitlin was born 2 hours after.

A: "she's beautiful Care!"

C:" thanks hunny! I'm happy you made it. Can you stay here until I go home and that's in two days?"

A: " honestly Care I don't know if I'll be able to I'm suppose to meet Blake's parents tomorrow and then go to his game tomorrow night."

C: "really Aubs." She looked down at baby K and then looked back up with tears in her eyes. " your never here for me. I never see you and your always hanging with Blake or have some super model stuff to do. I've gone through so much and you have not been here for me." I just held her in my arms.

A: " I'm so sorry Care. I'll stay ok? Ok." A few hours later I realized that I didn't call Blake. So I called him.

A: "hey babe sorry!"

B: "it's ok how is she? Also I planned your plane for the ride back!"

A: "Care is doing great and the baby is so cute I can't wait for you to send pictures. Umm Blake I won't be coming back for another day. Therefore, I won't be able to go to your game tomorrow night and meet your parents until I get back. I hope there ok with you and most of all that your ok with it."

B: "I'm a little upset to be honest, but that's your family. So it is what it is I will reschedule your plane. Love you. I need to sleep." He hung u before I could even say "I love you" back. I could tell he was upset and I felt so bad because he was always there for me, but my sister is family and she needed me.

*that Saturday*

I woke up in my bed with my hair all over my head. I got up and brushed my teeth and got into the shower. I got out and put my curly hair and a huge bun and did a lite bit of make up. I changed into a blue sundress and put on my shades and walked out of my condo and to my car. I was going to meet Blake's parents for the first time. I'm very nervous because of the fact that I canceled on them twice. I pulled up to Blake's. I rang the door bell and he answered the door.

B: "hey" He said as he wrapped me into his chest. I looked up at him hoping he would kiss me but he just looked into my eyes and shook his head.

A: " hey." He gave me a face like he was still upset. I could only think "oh God blake really!" I walked into the kitchen and saw Blake's mom and Dad sitting in the high chairs. My stomach was bouncing around and Blake wasn't making it any better.
