Okay. Just a quick review, Steven was with Ashley and Eliza back at the woods. They didn't witness the whole floating guy scene but everyone was able to hear the message loud and clear anyway. Steven decided to go back to the Starting City to look for Christa and sent his companions to look for his friends, Tristan and the others who were staying at the same NPC village as before.

Now, the players from the city were in trouble, lots of them died in that battle, but Christa was lucky enough to get saved by who? Was it Steven? We'll see.

Welp, onwards... To Chapter 21!

Chapter 21: Gone?

Ashley's Point Of View

Run. It's the only thing kuya has told us to do. Run and find Kuya Tristan and the others. I know I should trust him that he would just be alright but we're talking about my brother here. I love my brother, it would hurt to see him getting himself to trouble but what can I do? Maging ako ay gusto ring masigurong ligtas si Ate Christa.

Walang mga salitang namumutawi sa mga labi namin at patuloy lamang kami sa pagtakbo patungo sa NPC village kung nasaan ngayon Sina Kuya Tristan. Hindi rin naman nagtagal at nagawa naming marating ang aming destinasyon, with Kuya Tristan and the others standing in one place, their faces was showing nothing but pure worry.

"Kuya!" I called out to him na kaagad na nakakuha ng kaniyang atensyon. He averted his gaze from his menu towards my direction at mabilis ko siyang sinalubong ng yakap. "Thank God you're all safe!"

"Of course. Where's Steven?" sagot naman nito ng pakawalan ko na siya mula sa pagkakayakap ko at nagsimulang luminga linga sa paligid niya, looking for any signs of my brother until it landed in my companion na doon ko na lang rin naalala. "Wait, who is she?"

"She's a friend of kuya Steven, kuya." sagot ko naman at napatitig na rin sa kasama kong Arcanist na tahimik na nakamasid saamin. "Now that I think about it... I don't even know your name yet.. "

"It's... My In Game Name is Lucid.." she said, at forced a smile on her face. Huh. Maybe she's just shy around people.

Nakangiti naman siyang tinugunan ni Ate Sabrina ng isa ring pagpapakilala. "Mine is Calamity, but hey that's just an in-game name."

"And my name here is Rhino, although I don't exactly look like one. It's nice to meet you, ma'am." sunod na pagpapakilala ni Kuya Tristan na kaagad namang sinundan ni Kuya Sebastian ng isang tango at maikling pag away dito.

I turned around and faced her. It's my time to introduce myself to her. I then smiled and lent my hand to her, before I spoke. "Hi! My name is Ashley, but they call me Ash in game. Hehe, it's nice to meet you, ate"

Ngumiti rin ito saamin pabalik at doon na nawala ang awkwardness na kanina lang ay bumabalot sa grupo namin. We decided to stay there at the village, lalo na nga at walang monsters ang lalapit doon at papatay ng mga NPC for no reasons at all. We're practically safe here.

Napagdesisyunan naming lahat na magstay muna sa tavern ng village na ito at doon namin hinintay si Kuya for hours. Hindi na rin nagtagal ng isa pang oras at dumating na rin ito, humahangos, magulo and buhok, his armour was broken and the clothes itself were torn in places. His eyes looks tired and the most important part there would be.... There's no Ate Christa accompanying him. What happened?
