Chapter 24: The More Important Thing

One, two weeks have passed and we finally gave up looking for Christa ourselves. As much as we wanted to continue looking for her, hindi rin pwede na tumigil na kami ngayon sa mga buhay namin just to look for her, lalo pa nga at naroon parin ang banta sa mga buhay ng players ng game na ito mula ng huling pag atake sa Starting City at ang pagkawala ng log out button, trapping us all inside FBO.

If this is a sick joke, hindi ko na alam kung ano pa ang magiging reaksyon ko sa mga nangyayari. This isn't funny anymore. Everyday, more and more players are trying to go out their way and look for a solution to everyone's main problem, but no one was able to find a solution for that yet. These players are called 'Hunters'.

Hunters have special treatment in this game now. Lahat ng hunters ay binibigyan ng mga players ng napakataas na discount or minsan nga ay free na weapons, potions, and food  tuwing madadaan sila sa mga cities.

This is the main reason why almost everyone with high levels are given the title 'Hunter' lalo na kung nasa mga levels 40-50. Most of them are just pretending to be looking for solutions to this problem for the free tools, na oo nga naman, magandang opportunity to advance, lalo na nga at malapit na ang susunod na wave, basing on the countdown we could see via the holographic screen existing everywhere which players called, 'The Timewave'

There's one famous group of hunters though. Walang pangalan ang grupo nila pero ang tawag sa kanila ng mga players is Triad. The Triad is obviously a group of three players na hindi pa napapangalanan but we're known to make huge amounts of advancements during quests. Sila rin ay ang unang inaasahan ng mga players na tatapos ng waves to make way for the players to escape the game.

Kami naman ng mga kaibigan ko ay patuloy lang sa pag-advance, searching the land for all possible farm areas for loots and experience points. Lagi rin kaming laman ng taverns as we were looking for more informations and quests from NPCs na kadalasang nasa ganitong mga lugar at certain times of the day.

Tuwing nasa tavern ako, alam na alam na ng bartender ang hanap ko at sinisiguro niyang nakahanda na ang hinahanap kong information for a thousand creds. Fair trade if you ask me.

Our weapons are mostly crafted and customized to our own liking. Madali naman para saamin ang paghahanap ng materyales for our equipments dahil na rin sa lawak ng saklaw ng mga kaalaman namin tungkol sa floor 1. Kahit ang mga players na nakakakita saamin ay natutuwa sa mga weapons namin at lagi kaming nakakatanggap ng mga trade requests for them na naiipon lang sa spam folder ko.

Right now, I am on my way to the tavern here in this city that our group was able to find during our travels. I wanted to look for information again bago ako magtungo sa shop to purchase few stacks of potions for our group.

We don't call ourselves hunters. Bahala sila sa mga buhay nila, all we care about is to advance, be the strongest and find Christa. Iyon parin ang main goal namin. We still want to look for her, but not now.

Ng matagpuan ko na ang hinahanap na building, kaagad kong inakyat ang hagdanan na magdadala sa akin sa entrance ng tavern. I opened the door and took a peep inside, the tavern was crowded, but not that much, at hindi pa masyadong kilala sa mga Hunters ang syudad na ito.
