Sarah’s POV
Five months had passed since they celebrated their first month together. After half a year of being together, life seems to be smooth for her and Gerald. They encountered some downs from time to time specially with her mom’s dislike of Gerald, but they tried their best to be strong for each other. One Saturday morning she was still sleeping when her yaya suddenly burst into her room waking her.
Sarah: Oh yaya ano ba yan bigla bigla ka na lang pumapasok.
Yaya: Sarah si mommy mo nahihirapan makahinga. Ano gagawin natin wala pa naman mga kapatid mo lahat out of the country. Her yaya worriedly explained to her.
Sarah: Ha? Asan si mommy?
Yaya: Nasa kuwarto. Puntahan mo na dali!
Sarah immediately stood up from her bed and hurriedly went to her mother’s room.
Sarah: Mommy! Don’t worry relax I will bring you to the hospital. She said to her mom while she tries to calm her. She then said to her yaya to fix her moms clothes and things in case she will be hospitalized.
Sarah: Yaya, pagkatapos mo magpack paki sabi kay manong iready yung car, dadalhin natin si mommy sa hospital.
Yaya: Absent si Manong, Sars may sakit daw ang anak kaya hindi makapasok. Her yaya told her worriedly.
Sarah: Sige Yaya, tawag ka ng ambulance bilis na!
Yaya: Oo sige ano ba yan natataranta ako
Sarah: Mommy relax lang nagpatawag na ako ng ambulance. She whispered to her mom.
After 15 minutes the ambulance arrived and they are now on the way to Asian Hospital. She was with her yaya in the ambulance, her mom was being monitored by the doctor and is now under observation. During the ride, she called Gerald to tell him what happened and to cancel their plans for that day. They are supposedly scheduled to watch a movie and have lunch together, that day.
Ring Ring Ring
Gerald: Hello babe, I am on my way sa house niyo. I’ll be there in 30 minutes he told her when he answered her call.
Sarah: Ge, sa Asian Hospital ka na tumuloy. Nasa ambulance ako ngayon with yaya and mommy. He told him with a crying voice.
Gerald: What happened, babe are you all right! Anong nangyari? He asked her worriedly.
Sarah: Si mommy muntik atakihin sa puso buti na lang naagapan. Sundan mo kami sa hospital babe, wala sila ate ako lang nandito for mommy. She told him, crying.
Gerald: Sige Babe, relax ka lang ha. Diyan na ako tutuloy. Don’t cry babe ok everything will be alright. I’ll be there. Love you! He told her sincerely with concern in his voice.
Sarah: Intayin kita babe. She whispered to him softly and said her goodbye.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the hospital; her mom was wheeled into the emergency room and was being observed. She and her yaya are waiting for a regular room for her mom in the E. R. when Gerald, suddenly arrived.
Gerald approached her and hugged her before asking her
Gerald: Babe, kamusta si tita? He asked her with concerned voice
Sarah: Under observation pa siya, babe. Naghihintay lang kami ng room for her. Marami pang test ang gagawin sa kanya in the following days. She told him in a small voice.
Gerald: Everything will be fine babe. So pano ikaw magbabantay sa kanya?
Sarah: Oo kami ni yaya. Magleleave na lang ako sa office for a week or two siguro, wala kasi sila ate. Kaya ako lang maasahan ni mommy.
