Sarah’s POV:
3 days had pass, she and Gerald decided to give some space from each other and give each other a rest. She decided to devote her time and efforts to work and her mom. She wanted life to let it be for the mean time..
It was a Saturday morning when her mom went to her room and woke her up.
Sarah’s Mom: Gising kana, Sars, punta tayo sa daddy mo.
Sarah: Ngayon na po, Ma? Nakapagbreakfast na po ba kayo?
Sarah’s Mom: Oo tapos na napakain na ako ni yaya mo.
Sarah: Yung meds niyo ma nainom na? Sorry po hindi ako nagising ng maaga.
Sarah’s Mom: Nainom na rin. O siya halika na bisitahin natin si Daddy mo sa sementeryo. Bihis ka na intayin kita sa labas.
Sarah: O sige po. Saglit lang ako, Ma. She said to her mother in a sleepy voice.
After 30 minutes they arrived at her Dad’s grave. She and her mother sat on the bench near it. They stayed quiet for a while when she heard her mother talking to her
Sarah’s Mom: Namiss mo na Daddy mo?
Sarah: Opo, sobra. She softly answered her mom.
Sarah’s Mom: Alam mo noong nalaman ko na pregnant ako sa iyo, your daddy was very excited. Noong tinawag ko sa kanya sa office umuwi siya agad and ang dami dami niyang binili na gamit para sa baby, pati toys, complete na wala na ako dapat bilihin pa, ganoon siya ka excited. You were always been your daddy’s little girl. Noong maliit ka pag nasusugatan ka or nagkakasakit ka galit na galit sa akin iyan si Daddy mo kasi pinapabayaan daw kita. Palagi niya sa akin sinasabi na siya na lang daw ang masaktan huwag lang ikaw. Mahal na mahal ka ng Daddy mo Sarah, hindi mo lang alam kung gaano siya nagaalala sa iyo noong nagkasakit siya. Noong una namin nalaman na may cancer siya una niya tinanong sa doctor kung gaano katagal pa siya tatagal, kasi kailangan pa ako ng anak ko eh, paano si Sarah pag wala na ako? Sabi ko sa kanya malaki ka na, may sarili ka ng buhay, napalaki ka naman namin ng tama kaya huwag na siya magalala. Pero alam mo hanggang bago siya mawala palagi niya sa akin sinasabi na huwag na huwag ka pabayaan.
Alam ko Sarah, we don’t see each other eye to eye, pero mahal kita, pangako ko sa daddy mo na hindi kita pababayaan. Pero ngayon na nakikita ko na may problema ka, kahit hindi ka nagsasalita alam ko. Galit ako sa kanya kasi nakikita ko kung gaano ka nasasaktan at nahihirapan. You’re dad might be mad at me right now kasi pinabayaan ko umabot ka sa ganito. Pero ano magagawa ko desisyon mo iyan eh. Kahit anong tutol ko wala naman ako magagawa.
Bata ka pa Sarah, many things will happen to your life, you will meet more people , eto lang ang sa akin don’t close your doors to other people na makikilala mo. Marami ka pa makikilala na mas deserving sa iyo, anak. Don’t waste your life loving someone who brings you so much pain inside.
Ang Daddy mo, did all his best to give you the life you deserve, sigurado nalulungkot siya nakikita kang ganyan. Mahal na Mahal ka namin ng Daddy mo and you don’t know how much thankful, I am to have a daughter like you, pero anak sana pag nagmahal ka masaya ka hindi dahil mahal mo siya kaya ka nagtitiis kahit alam mo hindi ka na masaya. Pagisipan mo lang anak. Her mother told her with a caring voice a mother can only give.
She just stayed quiet the whole time her mother is talking to her; she cannot remember a time her mother talk to her that long. She was taken aback with what she said. She might not agree with her most of the time, pero this time she felt her mother's concern for her and alam niya her dad is worried too.
“Daddy, sana nandito ka pa, kailangan pa kasi kita eh!” She quietly said to herself while her tears started to fall from her eyes.
Her mom noticed her, crying, she stayed quiet and just looked at her. When she was done, her mom suddenly asked her,
