Gerald’s POV:

Weeks have passed and he was able to settle an amicable agreement with Bea regarding their daughter’s custody. Alliah will stay with him from Friday’s to Sunday’s her yaya will go with her everytime she is with him. He fixed the extra room in his condo to serve as Alliah’s nursery. The agreement started weeks ago, he and Bea are friendly with each other as they tried to be co-parent for Alliah. Amidst the calm relationship he had with his daughter’s mother, he still feels the pain of losing his great love. He misses her so much. Every night he asked himself, how is she? Does she miss me? Questions he wanted to answer but too lost to act on it.

One Friday night, Bea canceled Alliah’s visit with him for that weekend, for the reason that she will bring Alliah to her parent’s house as they wanted to be with their granddaughter. He agreed and said that he will have her next week instead. He went straight to his condo after work, on his way home, he is contemplating on asking Sarah to meet with him, he feels that they still need to talk and settle things. He build up, enough courage, before he dialed her number.

Sarah: Hello

Gerald: Sarah, Ge here umm can we talk? He asked her tentatively.

Sarah: What for, Ge? She asked him, pain still evident in her tone.

Gerald: Let me meet with you, Sarah, please we still need to talk at least clear some air between us. He asked her pleadingly.

Sarah: I am still at the office. Obviously, we can’t talk at my house, you know my mom…. She told him and cut her sentence short.

Gerald: Would it be okay if you go straight at my condo after you are done with work? I am on my way there already. He asked and informed her.

Sarah: Sige, I’ll be there, I’ll text you when I am near. She informed him coldly and cut off the line.

“At least she agreed to talk.” He sadly, whisphered to himself.

He then arrived at his condo, he went straight to his room took a shower and prepared the take out dinner he bought on his way to the condo, for him and Sarah. He was about to finish setting the table, when he heard the doorbell rang, it must be Sarah, he told himself. He again tried to get some courage and opened the door.

There she is, standing infront of his doorsteps looking so sad; he can see it through her eyes. The woman he loves so much is still pained by him. He uttered to himself while looking at her eyes.

He signaled for her to enter his condo, she slowly walked inside and went straight to the living room and sat at one of his side couches. He then walked towards the couch across her and sat. They did not speak; they just continued to stare at each other. He was trying to get some more courage when she suddenly spoke up,

Sarah: Why am I here, Ge? She asked him with a very sad voice.

Gerald did not answer her and just continued to stare at her, his eyes are welling up and tears started to flow. Her eyes kills him, he saw so much sorrow and pain in it.

Sarah gasped some air before giving up and started to cry as well, it was then he woke up from his stance and walked towards her, he kneeled infront of her and hugged her tightly without uttering any word. She tried to pull from the hugged and started to yank his shoulders with her hands, expressing how painful she feels inside. He hugged her tightly letting her know he does not want her to go. After much hauling and yanking, she got tired and surrendered to his hug. She buried her face in his neck and cried river of tears in it. He tapped her back with his hand while tears continously flows from his eyes. They stayed liked that for a few more minutes when he suddenly can’t take it anymore and held her cheeks with his two hands and kissed her with all the passion and the pain of the last fews months in their relationship. She was surprised and was trying to pull free from him, but he did not let her go, he felt her surrendering to his kiss and she slowly opened her mouth, he tooked that as a sign and deepen the kiss. He kiss her like there is no tomorrow, he tasted her, feel her mouth as if he will not taste it again. She did reciprocate his kisses with as much passion and urgency he is giving her. They kissed as though it is forever; they stop just to gasp for air and started to kiss again with so much longing, pain and passion. He then stood up and carried her to his arms, not living her lips with his, he walk towards his bedroom, locked it and laid her to bed. He looked at her in her eyes; he saw pain and passion at the same time. He then positioned himself on top of her and kissed her again, he started to peck on her neck while he massages her shoulder with soft touches with his other hand, her fingers running through his hair, he then slowly went down and unbuttoned her blouse, he unclasped her bra, yanked it from her arms and started to sucked her already hard nipple while his hand works magic on her other breast. He heard her moan; he then continued to taste her skin, his lips tasting every part of her body his lips landed on. He is already hard but he tried to pleasure her more, he went down and started to work on her skirt and put off her laced panty, he yanked it with one hand with such urgency. He started to touch her inner tigh as her hands worked wonders on his shoulder, he touched her there and felt her juices flowing in his hands, he heard her call him,

He then collapsed beside her, she move her back from him, now he is facing her back he then, circled her waist with his arm and inched closer to her, he heard her softly crying. He then, tighthened his hug and whisphered a soft “I Love you”, at the back of her ear.

He does not want to regret this, if this would be the last time, he will take it and burried it in his memory and his heart. He felt her drifting into a sleep, he then whispered softly sleep, my love, I Love you so much and drifted to sleep himself.

“If this is their last time sharing love, He will take it and buried it in his memory and his heart, forever.”
