CHAPTER 17: ANOTHER PROPOSAL?!?

Flashback:

That, night after seeing her….

They were dining in one hotel; he was so estatic to see her again his spirits deflated when he saw her with him, happy and sparkling. But it did not backed him down; he left the hotel for a while, and bought the thing he has been waiting to give her. He will fight for her this time; he will try his best to win her back again and tell her what his heart really feels. That night made him realized that the two love of his life seems to adore each other and it made him surer that this is the right thing to do…. But he has to talk to her first and clear the air.

On his way back to the hotel, after purchasing the most precious purchase he bought in his life, he approached his daughter’s mother and gave her a kiss on her cheek; she smiled at him and tapped the chair beside her…..

Oh, Ge saan ka nanggaling, sorry nainip ka ba sa kakantay sa akin? Bea, appologitacally asked him and urged him to sit beside her.

“Hindi Beys, I just bought something outside, diyan lang sa malapit.” He, told her. (A/N: If you are familiar with Shangri La Makati near the said hotel is a Jewelry Shop)

They proceeded in eating their dinner, as it is already late. After they finished eating, Bea suddenly exclaimed that she needed to go to the restroom and refresh, Yaya and Aliah went with her that is when he took the opportunity to call her. His plan was to call her first and asked her if he can go straight at her house to meet with her, and once and for all clear the air between them and if the cards are with him he will then pop the most important question of his life.

He took a deep breath and dialed her number, she answered immediately, as soon as he heard her voice he immediately told her what he is meaning to say to her earlier that night and that is

“He misses her.” Her cold voice almost killed him. She seems moved on and happy. He uttered to himself. She then said that she is happy for him and Bea. He was about to correct her and make her believe that she is still the one inside his heart but she already ended the call.

He was devasted, she really has moved on from him, from his life….

He was angered by the unfairness of it all… By the looks of it and by her conversation with him it seems she has Ian already. …

Someone is making her happy already and it was not him…..

He was so hurt and confused when Bea suddenly appeared on his side tapping his shoulder asking him if he was okay…..

Beacause of too much pain, he then, suddenly stood up and kneeled before a stunned Bea, he grabbed her left hand and asked her,

Be Mine, Bea, please Marry Me……..

He then, pulled out the ring in his pocket and inserted it in her ring finger.

Bea’s eyes was shining from tears, he looked at her and waited for her answer……

Present: Back at his office after the Bolt from the Blue Meeting

He sat on his office chair still reflecting on things…..

He was not expecting that after a year another proposal took placed and it was with the great love of his life sadly he was not the one proposing.

One thing is for sure now, their love for each other is finally over, as, she is happily engaged to someone else….

And he on the other hand, proposed to the one special girl in his life his child’s mother, and supposedly soon to be wife…..

"Why does destiny, loves to play games with them, now they need to work together......Now that their love for each other is over...."
