Sarah's POV:

After they broke up she tried her best to move on and start life over. She buried herself with work and her daughter duties. She still feels empty inside. Work was in a way her way out. She tried her best to be successful in her field and was rewarded by another promotion. Life was as it is, quiet but empty. Daniel kept on guiding her, helping her to move on with life. Their friendship was stronger as ever and they occassionally go out on friendly dates when time permits.

One Normal Day at the Office:

She was at her office finishing her monthly report for the general assembly meeting scheduled the following day when, Danna, her assistant burst inside her office carrying a boquet of flowers.

Danna: Mam Sars, someone delivered this for you, uyy mam may bago kang admirer. Her assistant teasingly told her.

" Hay naku Danna, stop teasing me, go back to work." She told her somewhat in a stern voice but sweetly smiled at her after.

Danna just smiled at her and teasingly gave her the boquet. She then left her office still with a teasing smile.

She then pulled out the card that was enclosed in the boquet and read it.

To My Dear Sarah,

Have dinner with me tonight, please! It is time to open new doors, Sarah. I don't want to pressure you but there is no harm in trying. You know someone is constantly knocking at your door expecting you to open it.

Please open the door by having dinner with me.

I will be waiting for you at the Shangrila Makati's Lobby at around 8 pm.

Always,

You know who I am :)

Sarah just smiled at herself and put back the card in its envelope and continued the report, she was finishing.

"Is it the right time for me to open that door?" "Maybe, why not?"

She silently told herself and smiled.

She recently opened her heart for his friendship and there is no denying the fact that he makes her smile again, lately. Maybe, this is the right time to open herself again.......

Gerald's POV:

A year without her was empty; he buried himself with work and being with his daughter. He and Bea are starting to renew their friendship, and they are both happy with what they have right now. A relationship, without commitment and expectation but a genuine friendship. Their little angel just turned one and is fastly growing infront of their eyes.

If someone would observe them from outside, they looked like a normal, young, happy family.

It was a Friday; it is his nightout with Bea and Alliah. Since the renewed friendship, he and Bea openly freed their Friday nights to spend time together with Alliah.

They call it Friday Night Date. They occasionally go for a dinner night out but usually they spend it at Bea's condo with a simple dinner and play date with Alliah.

That Friday Night was a different one, Bea called him at his office and told him that he has a client meeting at one of the hotels in Makati. She asked him if he can spend the date with Alliah, even without her.

"Beys, bakit hindi na lang sunduin ko si Alliah and Yaya sa condo and lets have dinner together at the hotel where your meeting is held?" He asked her during their phone conversation.
