"Come on Angela slow down!" I laughed as my best friend pulled me down the road to her house.

"I can't slow down, I finally get to go to your house!" she laughed.

"Then why are we going to your house?"

"Because I have to get my clothes and stuff silly" she rolled her eyes playfully and continued down the street.

I sighed and tried to keep up with her. Finally we made it to her house. "Try to keep it down. Tim got into a fight early this morning and he said he gets real bad migraines now" she warned. "Trust me, you don't want to be around him when he's like this."

I nodded and started up the stairs to her room. "Angela? Is that you?" Tim's voice rang.

Angela stopped in her tracks and rolled her eyes. "Dammit. I have to babysit again. I'll be right back" she sighed and walked to Tim's bedroom.

"Can you go get me some Tylenol?" Tim asked, his voice softer than usual.

"We don't have any" Angela replied.

"Well then can you get me some Motrin?" he responded.

"All out."

"Then go get me something to fix this damn headache!" he yelled which sent shivers down my spine.

"How about you just stop fighting everybody that you meet" Angela sassed back.

"How about you stop catching an attitude with me and go get me some fucking medicine!" he snapped.

Angela shifted her weight onto one foot, popped her hip out, and crossed her arms; signaling that she wasn't moving any time soon.

I, on the other hand, made my way to the bathroom and dug through the medicine cabinet. No Motrin, no Tylenol, and no other headache medication. I went back to Tim's room and this time, walked inside. "Angela, what did I tell you about company while I'm in bad condition?"

"Tim what did I tell you about getting in situations you don't belong" she snapped, still in her position from before.

"Tim, there's no medicine in the cabinet. I heard that quiet and super dark rooms help the best with headaches" I stated, trying to keep from shaking. No one knew that I had a HUGE crush on Tim.... not even Angela.

"Okay. Angela can you-" he started but Angela stormed out.

"I'm going meet Bryon. I won't be back any time soon so don't count on it!" she called and I heard the front door slam shut.

"God why does she have to always get her way" he groaned and rolled to his side. "Hey Melody?"

"Yeah Tim?" I responded.

"Thanks for trying to help. You can go if you want. I'll be fine" he stated.

"Actually, I think I'll just stay for a bit longer. Ya know, just in case you need something" I replied.

"Thanks. Hey c-can I say something?" he mumbled his words muffled by his pillow.

"Yeah of course."

"Here it goes. Melody. I don't know how to say this but I think I'm in love with you. I know you probably don't feel the same but I need to get this out there. Since the day Angela brought you here, I knew there was something special about you. The way your hair bounces off of your shoulders whenever you walk, the way your smile practically glows when you're laughing, the way your eyes look at everything with love even if you hate what you're looking at. I don't understand how you do it. You got me crazy about you and you don't even know it. The thing is, i never wanted to tell you because you're best friends with my sister and all and I didn't want to affect that" he stated, sitting up from his position.

"Oh my gosh Tim" I gasped out and practically jumped onto the bed and pulled him into a hug. "The thing is, I've always felt that way about you too. I love you so much Tim" I said, kissing his cheek.

"I love you too Melody" he smiled and pulled me close to him.

We fell asleep in each other's arms.
