"Oh come on Tim, when have you ever given up a chance to have fun?" I begged.

"Y/n, you know I'm busy. I have to take care of this stuff I don't have time to have fun" he sighed, pushing tons of bills and taxes out of his way.

"One night, just one. You're my best friend, I can't party without my best friend" I teased.

"One night, and then I handle all of this" he gave him. I smiled sheepishly, grabbed his hand and led him out the door.

We arrived at Buck's and already I was feeling lively. As soon as I walked inside, I recognized my favorite song. Tim tried to go straight to the bar but I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the dance floor. "No time for drinks Tim. This is my song" I practically squeaked.

He chuckled. "You sure are cute when your happy" he mumbled, licking his lips. I was caught off guard and stopped dancing.

"Y-You think I'm cute?" I blushed.

His eyes widened. "I-I didn't mean to say that. I mean you are but-"

"Thank you. Now come on, dance!" I cut him off, still blushing. I hoped to dance the butterflies away but every time Tim spun me around and I ended up in his arms I nearly lost it.

About two other songs played before I couldn't dance anymore so Tim and I left for the bar, both panting. "You can really move when you're not stressing" I complimented.

"You're not too bad yourself" he smiled.

I smiled and looked down at the bar. "So..." I started, trying to overpower the loud music.

"I'm sorry about earlier, on the dance floor and all" he blushed, scratching the back of his head.

"It was a compliment and it made me feel good about myself. Besides, you're not bad looking either" I smiled, nudging his shoulder.

"Thanks" he chuckled, now rubbing his neck.

We had a few more drinks and danced to a few more songs until our feet were aching and it was time to head home. "You mind if I stay at your place tonight?" I asked.

"Not at all. It wouldn't be the first time, you know you're always welcome" he smiled.

Eventually, we showed up to his house. Angela hadn't come home that night but Curly was fast asleep. I set up the couch for me to sleep and turned on the TV. "Hey, this is my favorite show" Tim laughed from the kitchen.

"Come watch it with me" I offered, patting a spot on the couch next to me. He grabbed some popcorn and heated it up before coming plop down on the couch next to me.

We watched the show for a little while longer until I dozed off.

Tim
point of view

I could tell Y/n was growing tired as she gently placed her head on my shoulder. She shivered so I wrapped the blanket as well as my arm around her. We both fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up with Y/n still curled up next to me, her head on my chest and my arm wrapped around her frame. I didn't want to wake her so I laid there gently until she stirred awake. She was so beautiful. I think I'm in love with my best friend.
