The city of opportunities
The music of its energy overpoweringly strong
And the brightness of its hospitable hope
Makes this the place where I belong
The city that never sleeps
It’s aglow day and night
Its ever-roaring engine
Never slowing in its might
NYC
The big boasting apple
So whole and wonderful
Its buzzing of liveliness
Is quite enough to lull
The city of freedom
So fair and true to its name
So many countless cultures
Bring Liberty her fame
NYC…
At last, the place of power
Its eager empire shows
Unbelievable constructions
Along where the Hudson flows
