Ballerina

In a beautiful skirt

                               She twirls, she spins

She turns and flips

                                But has no fins

              She glides and glows

                                         She smiles and                   slides

Her dress's fabrics colliding

                    Like the ocean       tides

With every sound

Of the music's softness

                                 She graciously glows

                                            Approaching with aloofness

Her every movement

                                  Is a grace

She's in a contest

                                                  But not a race

Her art is fluency

And tender flight

But she shows no weakness

Only magnificence and might

And when the sweet sounds

                             Start to still

Her definite destiny

                             She will fulfil

To woo her audience

                                                                       Embrace their minds

                                   And warm their souls

   With treasured finds
