The world rapidly grew and progressed during the Gaang's lifespan. Unfortunately, the Gaang disbanded as members began to grow old and pass. By the time Avatar Korra was born, Katara, Zuko, Arlington, and Peanut were the only ones left of the group. For the most part, they watched on the sidelines as the new Team Avatar tackled challenges of the modern era.
Life for Arlington, Zuko, and Peanut began to tranquilize and become a more conventional life of ruling the Fire Nation after Zuko brought his mom back to the palace. Their lives no longer consisted of going on crazy, life-changing missions with the Gaang every week. As time passed, members of the Gaang began to settle down as well.
Aang and Katara eventually married and decided to have children years later. They ended up having three beautiful kids: a waterbender named Kya, a nonbender (who would later turn out to be an airbender) named Bumi, and another airbender named Tenzin. Even with kids, Aang and Katara managed to juggle family life with restoring the world to its former peace before the Fire Nation attacked.
Sokka and Suki eventually decided to part ways. Their main focuses diverged into two paths, which lead to an end in their relationship. Suki wanted return to Kyoshi Island and reconnect with her roots as a Kyoshi Warrior. On the other hand, Sokka wanted to be a world political leader and was later given the title Chief Sokka of the Southern Water Tribe.
Toph went on to develop her own Metalbending Academy where she taught earthbenders to metalbend. While separated from the Gaang, Toph and a few of her students encountered Lao Beifong, Toph's father, and spent some time working out an ordeal with him. As the years went on, Toph eventually became Police Chief of Republic City and had two daughters who would be half-sisters to each other. Their names: Lin and Suyin.
As for Fire Lord Zuko and Fire Lady Arlington, they ruled the Fire Nation together with Prince Peanut by their side. The duo's reign as rulers lead the Fire Nation into a time of unprecedented peace and prosperity. Their rule would go down as one of the best in history.
Arlington and Zuko were the first members of the Gaang to have kids. They had three children: their firstborn, a daughter named Izumi who would later be Fire Lord during Avatar Korra's time and a set of twin boys named Raiden and Ryu. Izumi was born a nonbender while her brother, Raiden, was born an airbender, and her other brother, Ryu, was born a firebender.
As an adult, Raiden moved to the Southern Water Tribe where he would eventually marry and have a son named Varrick, Arlington and Zuko's first grandchild. At an early age, Varrick was seen tinkering with gadgets and innovating new inventions, a trait he picked up from his grandmother, Arlington.
Izumi later married a lovely Fire Nation man and had a son named Iroh II, the duo's second grandchild. Iroh II joined the military in his teenage years and quickly rose through the ranks, earning the title of Youngest General in United Forces History.
Ryu currently travels the world with a group of friends. He has no interest in settling down anytime soon, but he always manages to find his way back home to his mom and dad.
Lastly, Peanut lived the life of a full-on prince. He ate the finest meats and slept in the comfiest beds. Not a day went by where he didn't spend time with the Fire Lord, Fire Lady, and Uncle Iroh in the gardens of the palace.
Peanut and his two best friends, Arlington and Zuko, lived a delightful life together where they all grew happy and old.
The legacy of Arlington, Peanut, and Zuko went down in history as the journey of two lovers and a little fluffy animal who helped save the world. Their legacy became known as the epic tale of Under the Cherry Blossom, a story that will outlive history itself.
