Chapter 3: Dreams or Nightmares?

I feel asleep on the plane as 'oath' by Cher Lloyd blasted. I feel reality melt away as I drifted into the dream world...

~in the dream~

I was screaming and couldn't see well from tears blurring the reality around me. Flames rose higher behind me as I ran through the woods.

Then I was falling in a black pit completely fine. Not careing or freaking out. Red fire was below me, but I just feel into them.

Toxics washed over me my eyes a piercing scarlet. my hair burst on fire along with the edges of my clothes and fingers. I grabbed a man face as he screamed in horror from the burning. I didn't feel anything.

Then all I saw was scarlet eyes..... scarlet eyes..... scarlet eyes!

~reality~

I was being shaken by someone.

"Wha?" I took off my headphones. when their on they immediately turn on and turn off whenever I pull them off. I turned my head still kinda sleepy and saw Kurapika looking very concerned.

"Are you okay? You kept saying things like 'fire' 'eyes' 'toxic' 'falling' and so on!" His hand was still on my shoulder. I looked past him and saw Melody looking at me concerned too. Even Basho who I'm hoping put the plane on auto pilot was worried.

"Yeah I'm fine. I've had those nightmares so much there actually dreams to me...." I then noticed Kurapika's eyes were brown now instead of silver.

"Were you wearing contacts earlier?" He stared at me........ I felt so uncomfortable.........

"Yes." He looked at me weird. My expression became cold.

"Well excuse me for noticing details!" I slapped his hand off my shoulder and put my headphones back on. I turned away from everyone's stares and looked out through the window watching the clouds pass by. 'Neon Lights' by Demi Lovato came on and my mind started to wonder through my dreams. They all had me scream and cry when I was little, but no one was around and no one cared. In time I toughed it out and now I don't even react to them..... So much has happened since then...........

I turned back around and saw Kurapika reading a book as Melody watched the clouds. Basho was snoring and asleep........... lovely........ perfect time for me to mess with him. I smirked and went to the back of the plane hoping to find a sharpy.

Yes I know it's childish and cleshe, but hey I also had some whipped cream for his hair and glitter glue to help with his face. Oh how I loved to mess with people.

I slipped my headphones off as I got my supplies and went back to where Basho was.

"Mara? What are you doing?" Kurapika walked up behind me as I finished my masterpiece.

"Having fun." I smirked as I looked down at basho with drawn on eyelashes, unibrow, and beard. I would have done a mustache too, but he already had one. I had put swirled all over him in glitter and whipped cream was covering his hair and clothes. It looked so ridiculous!

I walked back to my seat spraying whipped cream in my mouth trying not to laugh. Someone slipped my headphones on my ears. I turned and saw Melody as she covered her ears along with Kurapika.

Basho woke up and noticed his new makeover then yelled... if it wasn't for the headphones my eardrums would be busted........ and I'm pretty sure he was cussing.......... ops..... oh well

I turned back around in my seat and fell asleep again this time not talking, but still had the same dream.........

A.N.

Well this chapter was....... interesting........ I have no idea what happened....

I first just put the dream then decided it was to short and it turned into this................ I had a little writers block if you couldn't tell..................
