Hunter or Prey?

Chapter 24

I woke up with a new determination to find and destroy Maleena. First things first.

I walked outside since I slept in my clothes and walked around. I got lost and asked someone for directions to my destination and finally found it! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I walked inside the door and smelt the oldy smell you get from the library. There was ALOT of books.

I walked to a computer and wrote in the name Maleena knowing it probably wouldn't help, but hey you never know what people have written unless you look.

I ended up finding that they had records of all the hunters in this library and apparently she was one...
WAIT SHES A HUNTER?! I stared in shock at the computer and immediately stood up going to the librarian and asking her for the records.

She surprisingly let me see them. I thanked her and flipped through finding her in the table of contents. Right before her page though I saw Kurapikas smiling face. I stopped and saw he was the page before her.

They put his last name as Kurta since no one knows his last name. I felt my heart drop when I saw him and turned the page. There she was. Maleena Kyota.

She was a girl the was 15 apparently. The picture of her was of a girl with a light green shade of hair the covered her right eye completely. The rest went to her chin and the roots of her hair was light pink, light blue, and light yellow. The eye visible was a deep deep brown to where it was almost black. Her skin looked unhealthily pale and her lips had a pink tint. Her face was oval shaped.

I looked over the information and found out... She had a nen where... She could take a persons nen power and use it... He favorite to use was one where she could track a person down...
I stared at the page closing the book. I can't believe this... Why was she even doing this to me?

I sighed putting my hands in the pockets on the vest. I felt a box in the pocket though...

I pulled it out and saw it was a small blue box with 'blue diamond' written in gold on the top. I was confused and decided to inspect it later in my room alone.

I layed my head down after finding other books that might help with finding this girl that seems to be determined to ruin my life. It was then that my mind wondered to the box. I took it out and opened it to see a beautiful bracelet.

It was a silver chain with a heart locket on it. Small little stars, hearts, and even music notes were scattered on the rest of the chain. On the outside of the heart it read 'From Gon'. I looked at the picture on the inside and saw a picture of whenever everyone was eating at the restaurant and laughing. I smiled at the bracelet and immediately put it on my right wrist.

It took my mind off the headphones until I felt like listening to music.
I sighed and stood with the papers I have on all the things I found that might be helpful.

I put the papers in my suitcase that I had packed and jumped out the window. I did NOT want to get the zodiacs involved in my fight and I also didn't want Dad to want to keep me from it. I walked the streets to the airport and bought a ticket to get out if here as soon as possible. She didn't live here. She didn't live anywhere.

On the airport I sat next to a window and stared out it til I fell asleep on the plane. I didn't wake up til I felt the plane land on ground. I stretched and stood to get my suitcase that I was able to use as my carry on.

Walking off the plane and found a hotel to stay in for now. I unpacked my things and laid on the bed just thinking about everything. I fell asleep again and woke up in the morning, but not by myself..... I woke up to the sound of screams and gunfire....

I leaped off the bed looking out the window. What I saw had me cover my mouth from horror. I punched myself hoping this was a nightmare, but I didn't wake. I ran to the door to see it locked. The windows glued shut. I was trapped to watch the horror outside...

Hello! Just so u know I do know the dont really use planes I know they use a blimp thingy, but eh potatoe poTAtoe..... I just said that twice, but whatever... I also know it was short, but hey at least I updated!

Anyway I know this chapter was kinda just a filler and the ending was all that great, but hopefully the next chapter can help with it. I am also planning on ending this book soon... I will make it a sequel so don't go blowing up my comments.
