Chapter 6: The fashion show and HIM

I saw Kurapika talking to that greedy, shallow, and immature guy that had hit on me at one time...... I hate to even think of his name.......

*Flashback*

I had gotten a deep cut on my left leg about a month before I got my new job. I went to go to the doctor and the doctor the freakin time kept hitting on me with really bad pickup lines like

"Hey angel! Will u be my guardian!"

"I see u like music well will u let me have this dance?"

I mean seriously! those are horrible! I left with a bandage and left the doctor with a huge bump on his head too........

*End of Flashback*

Why is Kurapika talking to him?! And how does he even know him?! The music played 'Timber' by Kesha and of course I was next! I growled, but then remembered I'm here to have fun so might as well enjoy this.

The preppy girl in front of me came back and that meant it was my turn. I began to walk out and did a twirl halfway to the edge ending with me blowing a kiss to the audience. I continued walking to the edge and instead of a girly pose I pumped my fist in the air and tapped my right foot. then I simply turned around and walked back. It was so much fun to see the other girl's faces which plainly were worried.

The other girls went then there was a voting thing for 30 min. I took that time to walk over to my friends and the perv doctor.

"You were great Mara!" Melody had greeted me as I walked up.

"Thanks!" I replied then turned to the doctor.

"Oh! Mara this is-" I cut Kurapika off

"I know this is Leorio the doctor. Also the guy who I beat up in his own office." I smirked. everyone was surprised I knew him and started to giggle as they imagined me punching him.

"U-uh! Well....." he blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Anyway. Can we go home now?" I turned and looked at Neon. She is the boss so it's her decision.

"Sure!" We all walked out the mall doors and went inside the car and I was glad they didn't make me stay any longer.

We got home and I immediately took all the makeup and preppy girly clothes off and went back to just the girl with music, neon clothes, and attitude. I slipped my headphones on and they started playing 'Army of Angels' by Kerli. I nodded my head to the beat as I stood looking outside at the beauty of nature and decided to go out for a walk. I opened my window leaving it opened alittle bit and crawled out and off the roof. I walked for a while then decided to lay down, so I went to a park and laid down on the soft grass. 'Cowboy Casanova' by Carrie Underwood came on as a light breeze gently blew across my face. I looked at the clear blue sky and sighed.

'I really need to ask Kurapika more about him being from the Kurta Clan too......' My eyes got heavy and I drifted off into a deep sleep in the warm spring day........
