Chapter 4:the boss

The plane finally landed and I jumped off in a flash cause I was so glad to be back in nature!!!

"Woooooooooo!!!!!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs as I jumped from tree to tree to ground and back to another tree. I'm pretty sure I looked like an over active chipmunk.

"Okay Mara you can calm down now!" Kurapika was laughing while talking looking at me. I jumped and landed right I front of him. I smiled with my eyes beaming. he did a closed eye smile back tilting his head.

'He looks so cute. Wait a min, WHAT AM I THINKING! I mean sure he has beautiful eyes and a charming smile.... Okay I need help with this......'

He grabbed my hand, which did not help, and lead me inside the mansion that was before us. If you thought that last mansion was big you'd be blown away by this one!( I'm bad at building descriptions so I'll leave it to ur imagination.)

We walked up some stairs and into a huge bedroom that looked really girly...... I actually kinda barfed when I saw all the pink......... There on the bed was a beautiful kinda pale girl with long blue hair in a ponytail hidden by a piece of cloth wrapped around her head. she wore a light and dark pink stripped shirt with a dark pink vest, white skirt, and cream colored shoes. she also had the most sparkling blue eyes.

"Hi! I'm Neon!" She got up and bounced towards me looking at me with great interest.

"Hi I'm Mara!" I closed eye smiled at her until she out of the blue pulled me into a hug. It was so suffocating and everyone else just stood there!!

She finally put me down and apologized.

"I'm sorry it's just you looked like a doll!!"

"Um... thanks? I guess?......." I scratched the back of my head as I spoke completely confused.

There was just something about this girl that made me want to be her friend.

Her face lit up showing she got a brilliant idea.

"I know!!! I could dress you up!! All you people shew! shew shew shew!!" she shoved everyone out except me and honestly I was scared...... the only thing I could think of was 'plz dont put me in a girly dress! plz don't put me in a girly dress!'

The door was locked and Neon then ran to her closet pulling all of these different outfits, shoes, and accessorys. it was about an hour of makeup, clothes, and hairdos and I finally FINALLY was done being the doll.

She pushed me to a full length mirror for me to see my transformation. I was honestly scared to see myself. I gasped not believing that that person looking back at me was....... me. I had on a blue one shoulder shirt with a denim skirt an inch above my knees. I also had on black leather boots that were an inch below my knees. my hair was in a side ponytail and I had some silver bangles on my right wrist. A silver locket hung from my neck with small diamond earrings. my makeup was light blue eyeshadow, a light pink blush, and hot pink lip gloss.

I stared at myself as my eyes widened in shock. Neon nodded her head proud of the work she had done on me. Neon smiled really big then opened her door and shutting it with me trapped inside. I could hear her yelling from outside though....

"Now presenting.... Mara!" she then opened the door and beckoned me to go out. I sighed finding no escape and walked slowly out. I felt a blush come to my cheeks when Basho's jaw dropped to the floor and Kurapika eyes widen with his mouth open alittle bit.

"She looks so pretty!" Melody was the one to speak first. Kurapika snapped out of his trance and smiled at me.

"I agree!" I don't know if I saw right, but I though I saw a hint of pink on his cheeks. Then Basho had to ruin it by whistling.

"You're telling me!!" I felt an anime vein pop out on my forehead as I clenched my teeth and shut my eyes. I felt disgusted.

"Shut up Basho!" I punch the top of his head causing him to crash through the floor boards. I was breathing quickly trying to calm down as everyone just stared at me wide eyed.

"I'm gonna go change back." I began walking back inside when Neon grabbed my arm and hugged it like a little girl pulling me towards the door to the outside.

"No Mara! Not when we just got done with you! We need to show you off in public!"

"What?!?! I didn't agree to this!!" I tried wiggling from her grip, but she was stronger than she looks! Melody sighed and put her hand on my shoulder.

"It's no use. might as well get it over with." she then walked out the door with Kurapika filling and Neon pulling me out by force. Basho was still knocked out in the floorboards.......... how did he even become a bodyguard??
