Hunter or Prey?

Chapter 16

I woke up, but this time it was earlier and instead of both Gon and Killua jumping on my bed it just Gon........ and he was poking my cheek saying my name over and over again.

Since my back was towards him I shifted over to face him. "Okay Gon I'm up. What is it?"

He smiled that huge smile. "There was a guy who called to remind you that you were gonna talk to him at The Cloud! Oh and this time it was Leorio who ruined breakfast." With that he walked out.

I groaned knowing that he was saying 'cook breakfast for us.'............

I pushed my covers back and walked into the kitchen and got blinded by a black smoke...... really Leorio really?

I walked to the huge window wall and opened a section of it then walk further to open a section on the other side.

"Turn on the fan." I instructed. Someone managed to find it and smoke began to clear.

I walked over to the stove and began getting ingredients together for breakfast.

"Hey what about the mess?!" Leorio shouted from the couch.

"That's you guys job."

"What?!" he shouted again.

"Funny a grown man is complaining while two 14 year old kids and a 16 year old isn't." I pointed with a spatula over to the others cleaning.

Leorio walked over mumbling and started to help.

Once they were finished they sat on the couch and waited for me to be done.

"Breakfast is ready!" I yelled as I set it on the table and took a seat. Everyone else followed.

Leorio was about to grabbed some but Gon slapped his hand saying "We need to pray first."

Leorio mumbled again as everyone else finished their prayers and began eating. I guess hanging with Gon rubbed off on Killua.

This time I made French toast with sausage and hash-browns. We all finished so I walked into my room while yelling at Gon "When did that old man say I had to meet him?"

"In like an hour!" He replied. I froze and had an anime vein while clenching my fists 'I only and a hour to get ready and find the dang place!'

I scurried to get ready while putting my hair in a ponytail again then walked out hopping on one foot trying to put my shoe on and carry my skateboard. I succeeded and walked to the door.

"Where exactly is The Cloud?"

"Go to the left for about thirty min then turn right and you can't miss it!" Gon explained.

"Thxs!" I yelled as I went into the elevator and burst through the door of the hotel. I only have twenty min!

I got on my skateboard and went as fast as I could dodging people left and right. I then look to where I was suppose to turn and there were cars driving! I don't have time to wait for them to stop! I just turned right and grabbed my skateboard out from under me after I jumped and landed briefly on a car before jumping on one in front of it. I finally was about to land on the sidewalk, so I put my skateboard underneath me and road forward to try and find it.

I got to a huge build with the words 'The Cloud' printed in bold black letters over a blue painted building. I walked in and saw it was a restaurant... even though I just freaking ate, but whatever.

The stewrdess(idk how to spell) smiled at me.

"I'm suppose to meet someone here."

"Oh you must be Mara! Right this way." She lead the way to the back. She put in a pass code so the metal door before us would open. inside was a special place in the restaurant I guess. She lead me to the table where the dude sat. She smiled then left leaving us alone.
