Chapter 20

RECAP

I just stared at him not knowing what to say.... should I tell him my feelings?

PRESENT

"W-well....I u-um..." I stuttered flustered. He looked at me hopeful, but I could tell the longer I was taking the more that hope was fading.

"Mara!" I heard my brother yelling my name along with Killua.

"Over here!" I yelled back relieved that I didn't have to answer Kurapikas question anymore.

Gons head popped up from behind a bush smiling.

"Hey!"

"Um... I think I know how this question is gonna end, but... What exactly did you do to Cadell?"

"Uh.." Gon scratched the back of his neck with a nervous smile.

"Thought so.... let's just go back to the hotel." I responded and walked away towards the way the hotel was. Everyone else followed. We were in a comfortable conversation and made it to the hotel. Palm and Bisky had their own floor above us, so we all went our ways.

I got changed into my usual sleep wear, deciding to shower in the morning, put my hair in a messy bun and fell asleep.

~~~~~Dream~~~~~

I was in a flowing white dress that faded to black at the bottom and it was showing my shoulders but cover my arms. I also had a white ribbon tied in my hair which was down. I realized it was windy and I was in the middle of a cherry blossom orchid. I was in awe at how the flower petals floated on the wind.

I turned and saw Kurapika walk up to me smiling in a suit. He stopped infront of me.

"Thanks for meeting me here Mara." He smiled brightly. I nodded and smiled back.

"What'd you want to talk to me about?" I questioned tilting my head.

"Well... I love you..." He blushed as he spoke.

"I'm sorry... I don't feel the same way." I almost whispered it. His face fell and the wind blew harder. I could see his heart break.

"I never want to see you again!" He yelled and ran off into the distance.

"Kurapika! Wait! Come back! Wait!" I yelled back at him running after him, but the closer I got the farther he seemed. The scene turned into a tunnel of darkness with him running into the light at the end. I ran and ran, but the light became smaller and smaller.

~~~~~Real life~~~~~

I woke up rubbing my eyes and sitting up. Well that was a weird dream... Wonder what it meant? I sighed and crawled out of bed walking lazily into the kitchen. I grabbed the milk container and a glass pouring the milk then drinking it.

"Hey Mara!" Gons bright voice cheered from next to me. I smiled.

"Hey Gon. Want some milk?" I looked at him shaking his head yes.

I smiled grabbing another glass and giving him the one I poured previously. He waited til I had my glass in hand and we both in sync drank our glasses dry sighing afterwards and laughing at the milk mustaches we both have.

"What do you wanna do today?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders putting our glasses in the sink. "Hmmmmm..........." I turned to see him with smoke coming from his ears.

I giggled and put my hands on his shoulders. "I'll think of something okay?" I asked smiling.

"Okay! Today though I want it to be just us!" He exclaimed happy. I nodded and got some cereal.

This was kinda a filler and since one person commented and said I shouldn't have her admit her feelings just yet I listened.... I felt like it was to early too...... anyway!!
