Caleb

I was in a car with Officer Blake and the boys on our way to the meeting point with Jordan.
The plan was for me to get the truth out of Jordan. I had a voice recorder attached to my body so this was going to be extremely dangerous, if he found out that I was recording him then it was game over.

"Back up are on the way," Officer Blake tells me and I just nod.

She parks the car letting me know we had made it our destination.

"Remember you have to make him reveal all about him setting your house on fire, that's our main lead but if you can try and get the truth about Andrew's shooting, we're sure that he's behind it," she explains as I double checked to make sure the surveillance was hidden and not visible.

"We're right here, if we hear things getting out of hand we'll be there," Devonte says and I just nod my head. Knowing that the boys had my back, made me feel somewhat secure.

"I need to make a call," I say before getting my phone and calling Nadia. I had to say goodbye to her if this didn't go to plan. She needed to know how I felt.

It continuously kept going to voicemail and I was starting to worry but I had to focus, I'm sure she was alright. Everything was about to be dealt with now.

"Alright I'm ready,"

"Alright you see the red car on the left and the silver car on the right, that's all backup so if anything happens get to one of them as soon as you can," Blake tells me.

"Good luck man, we got you," Trey tells me and Marcel just pats my shoulder from the back of the car.

I step out and walk a distance, we couldn't have made it look too suspicious.
I wait at the meeting point for a while until a car swerves up in front of me. The car windows were tinted so nothing was seen.

Jordan walks out with two men behind him who I remember as Elijah and Mark.

"Caleb, I was a little surprised when you called me, I must say," Jordan grins.

"Why did you do that to Andrew? He didn't deserve that..." I say angrily.

"Yeah about that, what happened to the boy I just keep getting the blame for shooting this Andrew guy? I don't even know him..." Jordan asks looking confused and I just chuckle by him playing stupid.

"Stop playing dumb, you know what you did," I yell.

"Honestly Caleb if I'd have done something you'd have known about it,"

That was true but it didn't make any sense. Who else would've stooped that low? And who else would have an agenda to shoot Andrew?

"So who shot Andrew then?" I ask becoming more furious.

"Your guess is as good as mine... you changed your mind yet are you ready to come back to the herd?" He asks and I realised this as an opportunity to get the truth about the fire at my home.

"Not after you put my father in a hospital bed with burns and leaving my brothers homeless," I hinted hoping he would spill.

"You know that was to teach you a lesson, listen Caleb your skills are missed at the herd, there is no one like you.... let's just put the fire behind us?" I grinned at this moment as I realised that it had been that easy.

I got what I wanted. I had the truth he basically admitted to it. Now all I had to do was get back to the others.

"No, I'm done," I tell him before starting to walk away.
