Nadia POV
When I saw him all my emotions came flooding back. I felt furious, Andrew was in that position because I was linked to Caleb.
We sat on the terrace of the hospital building allowing the cold air to hit us. We both sat there staring into the distance.
"Do you think he'll make it?" I whisper.
"This is Andrew we're talking about he'll get through it," Caleb replies not managing to look me in the eye.
"You're finding it difficult to look at me," I murmur and he takes a huge gulp.
"No,"
"Then why can't you look at me?" I ask him.
"Because everything you said was true, I've caused this but I'm not going to run away I'm going to sort it out,"
"Alright let me come with you, I'll help you," I recommend he shouldn't go out there all alone.
"No enough has happened, your brother is already in this position, if you were to get hurt how could I live with myself," he tells me holding my hand whilst taking a glance at me.
"At least you can look at me now," I chuckle.
"I'm sorry that I left, I thought it would be better for everyone," he sighs.
"Well it wasn't," I say turning his face to look at me in the eye. "Don't ever do anything like that again or this time I will hunt you down," We both laugh at my overly possessive remark.
"Why does it feel like I haven't seen you in a lifetime," he chuckles.
"I thought I was the only one who felt that way," I say.
"I missed you, I don't think you realise how much," he says as he looks at me intently. He goes from staring into my eyes to staring at my lips and before I could realise, we had both leaned in. He takes a strand of my hair and pushes it behind my ear before using that same hand and placing it on my cheek. I hadn't realised I was holding my breath until he kisses me.
Everything about it was perfect. It was sentimental everything that I had wanted. He was right here.
However, I knew I couldn't have him.
I decided to lightly pushed him away."I can't do this," I sigh my head resting on his chest.
"Why not?" He asks whilst stroking my hair.
"Marcus," I tell him.
"You're together?" He asks looking confused and hurt.
"No I just told him I'd give him a chance,"
"So you're forcing yourself to like another guy?" He squints his eyes to show annoyance.
"No it's not like that, he's been there for me," I try to reason.
"Aah I get it, I'm sorry I don't know what else you want me to do... I've never been this open....not with anyone, this is different for me," he explains.
"You actually haven't told me anything? I still don't know where your head is at..." I started but he cut me off.
"How much more obvious do you want me to be... do you want me to say that I love you because I do... I love you Nadia Johansen," I stare at him eyes wide open and he looks at me in awe as he realises what he has just said.
He was telling me everything I wanted to hear but it was a just a little too late for that.
"Listen you need to sort yourself out, you have to be there for your brothers and your father, I want you to guarantee that you are safe, I want you to resolve everything with you and Stephanie too," I explain and he shakes his head as he realised that I knew about them sleeping together.
"You know about me and her.....listen I'm not into Stephanie like that,"
"I know...I'm not angry I haven't got any rights to be, it's not like we were together, but you can't tell me you love me when you slept with her and you left me here knowing my family was in danger, actions speak louder..." before I can finish my sentence my father walks up the stairs to the terrace.
"He's awake," he smiles.
