Sanctuary [Poetry]

I've got my eyes
to witness everything—
to all good and bad
that never gets old,
and I have to
act brave and be bold.
but then, I should be
cautious to what I'm seeing.

I've got my mouth
to say anything I want—
be it good or bad
that anyone might hear,
because it's a freedom
I should not fear.
But then, I need to
filter every words to avoid being blunt.

I've got my hands that I could lend to people—
whether they're good or bad,
they deserve a chance,
because that's my purpose
that I should commence.
But then, I know
I can't save everyone's soul.
