One day, they will leave.
Like things being taken away, all you've received.
One day, they will smile at you.
They will try to escape that shoe,
that only proof they felt your depth.
One day, they will try to fool you.
Cheat, take advantage, every hue of treachery.
You'll have enough of those things.
One day, you'll just snap.
You will feel the gap.
Between you and yourself.
One day, hope will become pain.
The days will turn into list of waiting.
A bucket of wishes never granted.
A box of feelings unreturned.

One day, they will leave.
Only to come back.
Because demons never rest.
One day, they will smile.
While hiding in your chest.
They will escape your shoe.
To live deep inside you.
Demons will continue telling the truth.
While shamelessly fooling you.

One day, demons will fill the gap.
Between you, sanity, and yourself.
One day, pain will turn into numbness.
Days will stop, and so is your time.
No more waiting, no more wishing.
One day, you'll just realized they all filled your head.

No more way out.
