i flew close to the sun and my eyes burned covered in hot mist; my body drowning in suspended air, veins set aflame - my wings melting.

the heat violently seeps on the surface of my skin, digging in layer by layer - merging in to a point of no return. an irreversible curse of those who try to cross the limit.

i couldn't speak, my mouth sewed, teeth falling, tongue aging in reverse. my face i couldn't recognize anymore.

the air moved, tearing away my flesh - i was in a continuous fall, my feathers leaving me, disappearing, along with my dreams.

and then there's a loud thud. i broke my bones, the water felt like cemented flooring that it took my breath.

i saw the sky, albeit blurry, clear as the day; the sun - menacingly glaring.
