you still have that
childish smile;
left side lips curved
more upward -
a glint of
mischief
blending in
as if you're
planning something
that don't fit well
with your
nice voice and
handsome laugh.
it was nostalgic
how i've watched
you outgrown
your once innocent
self and now
you're tainted perfectly
well and still managed
to find kindness here.

shame, i was left
watching you,
adamant to remain
still.
