You knew it, formula one could be dangerous and sometimes dramatic things happened. You met Stoffel when you were only teenagers, you were friends during few years only friends. When Stoffel started in formula one you knew that will be different but not in that way, you remember each word of this conversation 'We are friends since many years now Y/N. I will travel a lot with formula one and I don't want to lose you, I love you so much and more than a simple friend. Come with me'  You and Stoffel are officially a couple since this time. At every race you were scared at every race at every turn you clench your teeth.
That's what happened in lap 4, turn 3 in Barcelona your boyfriend crashed and his car was damage. You were in the motorhome and cried and shook in his engineers arms. Stoffel moved from his car this day with two break bones and bruises all over his body. He couldn't finish his season, but the doctors said he will be ready for 2018. Today is Sunday and race day, Stoffel didn't feel very well because what he really want is to be in his car. 'Babe ? Do you need something ?' You asked to your boyfriend from the kitchen. 'A formula one, a flight to Austin and my engineers and mechanics around me' he said with a smile on his face. You know that he is so disappointed, it is is first season as a formula one driver and he missed the half of it.
You take your glass of ice tea and come in the sofa to meet him. He was is the front of the TV with a desperate look on his face. You took your fluffy pillow and come closer to Stoffel, he were texting Max and Fernando while he watched the Tv screen. You put your hands in his hair and caress his head softly 'Next season is yours babe, I know you're upset but it was a big accident your in sort of lucky'. Since Barcelona you used to looked at every race in your sofa and cuddling, every race, every free practise sessions and every qualification. It's like a ritual and you take care of your sick driver. Stoffel kissed your cheek and put his hand on your legs and looked at you, you slowly put your hands on his face and smiled 'I know it is your biggest dream, don't worry babe. Only few month and you will drive!' Stoffel looked at you and grab your hand 'Thank you for being here with me, take care of me every day. Sometimes I am wondering why I didn't kiss you sooner' he mumbled.

All the cars are on the grid, pilots are waiting for the start while Stoffel and you are on the couch. Stoffel bones still hurt him when he moves and his expression changed when he sat next to you 'What a great start Felipe !' He shout with a smile on his face. You smiled at him 'crazy driver' you shook your head. Stoffel opened his arm and pur it around you 'I don't want to hurt you, please be prudent babe' you said at your lovely boyfriend. He didn't listen you and kissed you cheek with love 'I am better know, and I miss cuddling with my girl. I don't drive I can at least have great time with you.'
You had always love watching formula one with Stoffel, you love formula one since you're child and when you met him he was surprising to see a girl which this passion. Since you met him, you used to watch every race together first as friend and then as a couple. You smiled at Stoffel 'Do you remember the first race we watched together ?' He smiled you back and hugged you harder 'yeah absolutely you didn't understand their tyres strategy, you thought they have to start with the super soft.' You laugh a lot 'yeah and I was right !! Remember ?' You boyfriend chuckled 'yeah babe, you was right you should be tyres advisor !' You softly pushed him away 'stop laughing ! You know I was right!'

That's what you love the most with Stoffel your special relationship, you are two best friends first and two soulmate too. The race is now over, and Stoffel still hold you. 'My couple goal, laying on Sunday watching race with you. That's what I want to in my entire life love. I mean not being hurt of course' you caught stoffel lips and looked at him. You are totally in love with his eyes and the way he stared at you, you grab his hand and your fingers interlaced. 'Don't forget your pills Stof', I bring them to you. Don't move. Do you want something' else ?' You said.

'I can move on my own you know ?' Stoffel said gently to you. You frowned 'Just go to bed, I want to take care of you.'

You took his pills and a bottle of water and meet Stoffel in your bedroom as the race was in the evening. You saw him without his shirt and it's like you fell in love again. Stoffel was waiting you laying in your bed, you jumped next to him and put you hand to his abs. Stoffel took his pills and wrap his hand around your waist. You legs moved above him, you couldn't be closer. Since few month now your race weekend are different, but one thing didn't change : you always fall asleep in his warm arm. His fingers caress you skin and he mumbled 'I love you so much Y/N'
