This is my first one with Valtteri :) This was requested by @MaryGraceRose :) I hope you will like it. Thank you for your request <3

'Val' !' You yelled from the other side of the garage, he looked at you and smiled. You know that smile, that upset and weird smile he had when he saw you at a race. You run towards him and hugged him softly, Valtteri wrapped his hands around your waist strongly and sank his face in the hollow of your neck. You felt his lips against your skin and the kiss surprised you, you and Valtteri are always close but not in that way. You took a step back and looked at him 'I am so glad to be here, thanks for the invitation. You used to be in the garage together when we drive a kart, I am so proud of you Val'. The driver bit his lower lip and mumbled 'I missed you, I am so glad you are here with me. I am nervous..'. You delicately hold his hand and sank your eyes in his deep look 'You don't have too, I am here to support you. You know when I told you that uh.. my ex boyfriend and I broke up, I was so sad and.. coming to a race made me smile.'

Valtteri bit his lower lips one more time and hugged you one more time, he whispered in your ear 'This season was not what I expected, I am glad you're here for that race. Really you're the only girl who can understand me, and you're the only one I wanted here. My old kart friend, my best teammate ever.'
You felt your stomach burned when he told you that, you had never thought Valtteri was like that. To you He was only your teammate and your friend, and nowadays he was here for you in bad and good moments.. Talk after talk and day after day you started to see him as more than a friend.

'For real Y/N, I missed you.' Valtteri continued. Your cheeks turned red before you replied 'stop being so cute. It is new for me you know'. Valtteri smiled 'Sorry, I am totally this kind of guy. You have to get it'

Race week end is already over, the race was awesome and all the time you spent with Valtteri too. You went to the restaurant, twice actually. You spent the nights together and every time you fall asleep in his hands, every morning your head was on his chest and Valtteri wrapped you. You're flight is at 9 p.m this evening, Valtteri will be still here tomorrow. You opened your eyes and as usual you fall asleep in his room. Valtteri is still asleep and doesn't move, you stared at him thinking about how beautiful he is and how serene he looks when he sleep like a baby. You moved you hand on his shoulder and make you closer. The driver opened his eyes and noticed that you're already awake. 

'How next morning will be without you by my side' Valtteri mumbled softly. You looked at him and smile 'You really must find a girlfriend Val', I can't be your cuddy toy you know'. Your heart made a leap in your chest when you said that, you and Valtteri are really close but you're only a friend to him. 'And why not ? You're a pretty cool teddy bear' he answered before kissing your forehead. 'I am not worry for you, you could find sexy and open girl at every race, you will not be alone' you added with a sarcastic tone, you began to love him and you don't wanna be hurt. It's your way to protect you... 

Valtteri seemed disturbed by your last sentence and he rolled away from your embrace. His eyes are empty and you can't see a smile on his face, he shook his head and continued 'You really don't understand Y/N' and he get up from the bed. The rest of the day was a little awkward due to that discussion this morning, you don't dare to looked at him in the eyes and you thought that Valtteri avoided your look. You're disappointed, your race week end was perfect and you screwed up everything with your stupids feelings and your stupid remark this morning. You started to pack your things, your flight is in less than 3 hours so it's time to go... 

Valtteri decided to drive you at the airport, the travel was incredibly quiet and that's why you chose to say something 'Thank you for that awesome week end Val', I loved race week end and more than that I love spend time with you. I hope we will see you soon, you know...' and you stopped to talk first because Valtteri stopped his car because you're at the airport and because you don't dare to continued. 

'You're welcome... and here we are. I was glad you were here with me.' Valtteri said, he took a deep breath and kissed your cheek 'Don't forget to tell me when you will be safely home Y/N' you nodded and shyly smiled. You stared at him and get your belt 'Wait' he continued and hold your hand you frowned but you didn't have the time to think about anything because he caught your lips suddenly. His lips are sweet and soft, without any hesitation you gave him his kiss back. 'I wanted that so much since the first time I saw you on the paddock on friday, you own my heart.' Valtteri said softly without release your hand. You bit your lower lips and you finally said 'I don't want to miss my flight, but you're stupid. I waited for that kiss since so long'.
