Hanging out as usual in the Mercedes garage, you are searching after Lewis. You used to travel with the team often because you're a friend of Susie Wolf, Toto's Wolf wife. You are younger than her but it's like your best friend ever. As you traveled a lot with the team you started to speak a lot to Lewis and due to his lovely charmed you had a crush.

The relation between Lewis and you is not easy, far from the press you acted like a couple or at least you are really close. In private it's more intimate, and you can't imagine your life without cuddling him after races. But your relationship is hidden, not especially from fans and press but from everyone in the formula one world too. You, Lewis and that's all.

At the begining that was easy because you didn't have real feelings but now it's more and more complicated. 'See you tonight babe ?' Lewis whispered in your ear. You nodded but you're not really convinced, for once tonight you wanted to stay alone and think about that situation... What do you want ? And What does Lewis want ?

After the long day, you ate with Susie and Toto at the restaurant, Lewis was not here and you spend great time with your friends. You removed your shoes and jumped in your bed, you closed your eyes and tried to not think about him. You don't want to call him or send him a text, you wanted so much more.

One hour later you watched your phone screen and nothing on it, no text from Lew... You heard someone knocking at your door with no surprises it's Lewis. When you opened the door youn aven't the strengh to smile, because it's harder and harder every day... Lew as usual wrapped his hands around your and slowly ran his hand under your tshirt. You closed the door behind him and took a step back. 'Hello beautiful, I miss your kisses today' Lewis said and you don't even know what you could answer. The only thing you want was to scream Open your fucking eyes Lewis, I Love you, I am in love since so long and you don't care.

Lewis stared at you and hold your hands 'What's wrong, how was your day babe?'. You took a long inspiration, clenched your fists and began 'yeah quiet good'. 'Don't lie to me please, I can see on your face that's not true...' Lewis could b the cuttest man ever, and the only thing you want is stay in his arm and cuddle all night long...

'No, actually I was wondering... What are we Lew ? I mean... I like you a lot, we spend a lot of time together and...' You looked a Lewis who is frozen, his look his darker and you didn't recognize him.'Stop' he finally said. 'Sorry ?' you asked him shyly.

'Yeah Y/N, I think I wasn't clear enough but... I don't wanna fall in love.' he said with assurance in his voice. You took a step back and said softly trying to calm you down 'Get out Lewis.' but he didn't move.

'Could you hear me ? I said get out. I don't wanna spend time with someone who doesn't want fall in love. What do you want ? Kiss me, stay in my room every race night, speak all night long and nothing more ? Because when we are outside you're completely different. You hurt me, I was too stupid to believe that you could love me. Just leave me alone Lewis, for ever.' you said with anger in your voice, but Lewis didn't move at all.

'You didn't understand' he said. You laughed nervously and replied 'Which word I didn't understand I don't wanna fall in love is pretty clear no ?' Lewis wanted to hold you but you moved away from him 'Can I explain something ?' he continued. You nodded and added 'Yes, but promise me one thing. You speak and you leave'. Lewis took a deep breath and finally nodded 'If you wanted to, I will. So this is not what you think. When I said I don't wanna fall in love that meant : I am scared. That meant I realized that I was strarting to appreciate you more than a friend, or a sex friend. I am starting to love you actually, and I am scared.'

You laughed again 'But Lewis, you drive fast cars every week. You could die at every turn and you scared about a heart broken. Can't you realize ? Our first kiss was almost 6 month ago and nothing changed... I am done Lewis. It's over now.'

Tears starting to ran through you face and you opened the door, he promised later... Lewis hold your hand kissed your cheek and whispered 'I am so sorry, I have to grow up. Let me more time...' 6 month is enough you thought when you closed slowly your door.
