Dark inside (Solby)

Confession

All of this will be from Sam's perspective. If you guys want me to do it from both perspectives let me know.

Today we are all heading out to suicide bridge....again. I honestly didn't want to after what had happened the last time but I wasnt going to back out on a video, not when everyone else was going. I was leaning against the wall of my bedroom as I scrolled through Instagram with a slight smile. There were so many solby edits that I always looked on instagram when I was nervous, it always calmed me down. I heard a knock on my door and I quickly turned off my phone as I looked to see who it was, it was Colby

Colby: Hey dude you ready to go?

Sam: Yea just give me a second.

He nodded and closed the door as I sighed. I looked at the edit one more time before I threw on my hoodie and sneakers before I walked out to me the rest of them.

The drive to the bridge was pretty quiet, everyone was probably really nervous and when we got there our reasons for being nervous grew.

Corey: Is that a car?

Amanda: there's no way that's a car Corey

Colby: That's a fucking car and it's running.

Sam: Is there someone in the car?

Elton: Nope. So let's go get closer.

Corey: You want to get closer to a car that's in the middle of nowhere and still running? No thanks.

Colby: Come on we can get to the bridge another way. There's a forest that leads the same way that I used to hide in, Come on It's this way.

He started to walk in a different direction and I shrugged as I followed him. Everyone else was close behind us as he started to push branches and leaves out of the way. I ended up with all kinds of scratch marks on my arms and legs even with jeans and a sweatshirt on and we came to a large rock.

Colby: Ok we're gonna have to go one at a time because it's really steep and I'll go last that way I can help anyone that needs it.
Elton went first and then Amanda followed. Corey went after them and slipped but was able to get the rest of the way up. I sighed and looked over at Colby who nodded his head, telling me to go next. I sighed and started to climb up the rock slowly, and about halfway up one of the ledges broke off and I almost slipped off the rock. I tighten my grip in the tiny ledges I was holding onto as I started to panic.

Sam: Well fuck

Colby: *chuckles* Don't worry I've got you.

Sam*I looked down and watched him start to climb up the rock and I bit the inside of my lip. When he reached where I was he started to smash his fist against the rock trying to create a dent big enough for me to put my foot so that I could climb up the rest of the way up. My eyes widened slightly and I couldn't look away from him and I'm pretty sure I whispered "Holy shit" as I watched him

Colby: There you should be able to push yourself up now
He shook out his hand as his knuckles were bleeding horribly. I looked at him for another second before I shook my head and pulled myself the rest of the way up. I sat at the edge of the rock and watched him climb the rest of the way up and I sighed softly. Corey came up behind me laughing lightly and he whispered

Corey: You have no idea how obvious it is

Sam: I don't know what your talking about.
I was blushing slightly as I looked up at him and he just laughed and walked away. Colby finally came up the rock and he walked to the other side.

Colby: Let's go we have to slide down the other side.
Corey went first and then Amanda and Elton. I followed them without a problem and looked back up at Colby. He was fine until we got halfway down and his foot caught on an ledge and he tumbled down the rock and landed on his back but he caught my foot in the process and I fell on top of him.

Sam: Oh.....hey

Colby: H-Hey.
He stuttered and I watched him turn bright red. I smiled lightly and looked at him as I lightly brushed his bangs out of his face. I honestly wasn't thinking and maybe this wasn't real maybe I fell off the rock and hit my head or something. I watched as Colby smiled and he slowly stopped blushing as he looked at me with sparkling blue eyes. He looked so beautiful and I knew how I felt about him I've known for a really long time but I've never said anything about it. A gasped slightly but smiled wide when he wrapped his arms around my neck which brought me closer to him. We were only a few inches apart and I could feel some kind of tension between the two of us and I kinda wanted to close the space in between us, crush the tension and finally experience what I've wanted to for so long, I mean this may not even be real. I lightly placed my hand on his cheek as I smiled and I looked at him. He started to lean in first and I smirked and closed my eyes, we were so close not even an inch apart......

Amanda: God how long will it take them to understand?
She said that loudly on purpose and started laughing as I shot a foot in the air and a few feet away from Colby as I turned bright red and buried my face in my arms. Everything was coming flooding back to me, the forest, the bridge the people around us the camera. I whined and tried to calm down and process what just happened. Corey, Elton and Amanda were laughing hard and I could hear Colby whimpering slightly and I glanced up at him and saw that he was hidden too. I watched him but just barely so that the others couldn't tell. He looked back at me and he had a small smile on his face when he saw I was looking back. I giggled softly as I looked at him and his eyes were still sparkling. I watched Amanda walk over to him and whisper something to him which made him turn red a bury his face in his arms.

Corey: come on let's just go to the bridge.
