Sams POV

While Elton made burgers for the house, Colby held me close in his arms as we watched Cinderella and Snow White, Colby let me pick the movies. I was holding the bunny in my arms as I gently ran my fingers along its chest. It was a very pretty bunny and I kept my head resting against Colby's chest. He would gently rub my arm or trace circles on my back as we watched the movies. Then just as Snow White was ending he made me look at him.

"Baby....after dinner there's something we need to talk about. Well actually a few different things but..."

"Kitty" I squeaked reaching up and petting his head causing him to purr. "You hwave to be so stwessed. Cwome out a pway for awhile thwen we can twalk" he smiled and I climbed out of his lap as I continued to pet his head. He had been so focused on taking care of me he hadn't stopped to think about himself. And I knew his headspace was like my little space, so I knew being out of it for so long had to have it's negative affects. He purred and nuzzled my chest as he let out a soft meow before hopping off the couch and crawling upstairs. I followed him with bunny in hand and paci in mouth and when we got to my room, he opened a secret door in the back and pulled out black ears and a black tail. There was a lot in that closet, however; a lot of fun things to explore. He trotted over to me once his tail and ears were in place and I giggled. I sat on the ground and he rubbed up against my side and let out soft purrs as I pet him and played with his tail. He would meow and occasionally jump at a bag, but other than that he was trying to fight his headspace and it made me sad for him. So I got up, with kitten following close behind, and I pulled out a ball of yarn from my chest that I had kept hidden from Colby.

"Does kitten wanna play?" I asked and his eyes light up.

"You know it would work on me didn't you?" He asked still fighting headspace. I giggled and nodded as I tossed the ball to the other side of the room and he chased it, growling and meowing and completely involved it it like a cat should be. I giggled as I watched him with a smile, and he glanced up at me before he went back to pawing and tackling his ball of yarn....until he got all tangled up in it and let out a whine and a soft mew.

"Awww kitty" I giggled and crawled over to him as I started to slowly untangle him. He continued to whine and struggle until I got him out, and he smiled and jumped into my lap and circled my lap before he settled and curled into a ball purring loudly. I smiled and slowly pet from his head to the small on his back. We stayed like that for a few minutes before Elton called us for dinner.

"Mrrrow" was the sound Colby made as he hopped off of my lap and ran downstairs on all fours. I giggled and ran after him, following his meows and playful growls. When I got downstairs I find kitty sitting outside on the chair next to bunny. I smiled and ran outside, taking the seat that bunny was saving for me and gently pet Colby's head. He leaned into my hand and purred happily we all sat outside and ate and joked and laughed. This was what I loved about this house. We could all sit outside and screw off and no one cares, in a good way. Which let Colby and me be completely ourselves. After we finished eating Elton cleaned up our dishes and Corey went inside to get something, though I didn't know what. I started to play with Colby in the backyard. He was rolling on the cement and meowing and purring as he pawed at my hands making me giggle. Then Corey came back and smiled as he handed me a lollipop. I smiled and thanked him and I unwrapped it and put it in my mouth. Colby instantly sat up and looked at it before frowning and ducking his head so his ears bent a little as he whimpered. I reached up and was about to give him my lollipop but Corey had already thought of that and handed him one. He eyes lit up and he mewed happily as he put it in his mouth and curled up in my lap. I pet him gently as I smiled and we both sucked on our lollipops and the roommates started a fire in the fire pit. Then Elton picked me up and Corey picked up Colby. We whined and reached out to each other as the boys laughed softly. Elton gently laid me on one of the lounge chair and Corey put Colby on my lap before Devyn put a blanket over us. Colby curled up closer to me with a purr and I smiled, petting his head as we watched the pretty fire. We all sat around the fire and looked at the stars and talked about random things, like my parents and YouTube and Vidcon next week. Colby was curled up in a small ball against my chest, occasionally nuzzling into me, and I could feel him talking and laughing which made me smile as I pet his head and back causing him to purr.

"You know" Elton started once there had been a peaceful silence. "We can take care of the two of you when both of you want to be in headspace." That made Colby perk his head up as he tilted his head to the side curiously.

"Weally?" He asked hopefully and everyone nodded.

"Yes really. You two are so adorable and we love taking care of you" Devyn said and we smiled.

"See kitty. I told you you should have worried about yourself more." He nodded and purred loudly, then reached up and kissed me slowly and sweetly. I kissed him back and slowly ran my hands down his back as everyone awwwwed. I loved our life, our roommates and my kitty. I'm glad my pretty little kitty came back.
