I Know

Colby's POV

After a few minutes we went downstairs to go hang out with Sams mom.

"I can't believe you guys have been friends for this long" his mom said as we all sat down and I laughed, trying really hard to not just pull Sam into my arms and cradle him close to me.

"Yea it's been crazy, but we've been through a lot together, and we know that. So I hope this doesn't end, ever." I watched Sam blush a little because he knew what I meant, and Allison gave me a smile knowing what I meant.

"I hope it doesn't end either. You boys seem to get along very well and I haven't seen Sam this happy ever." She told me and I could see Sam blush hard, making me laugh.

"I know he'd always been so quiet and kept to himself  until he met you. Now he's happy I'm outgoing and doing crazy stuff whenever he can. And I love it." Allison said as she smiled at us. I watched Sam blush more with a smile as he hid his face. I reached out and ruffled his hair with a smile.

"Awww does it make you embarrassed how much I've changed you?" I teased and he swatted my hand away playfully.

"Oh stop it. You know shit like that makes me embarrassed" I laughed and actually had to hold back from leaning in and whispering to him before kissing his neck like I usually did when I teased him. I could tell Allison could see my struggle and she gave me a soft look but I smiled before looking at sam.

"Yea well a lot of things make you embarrassed" I taunted and he hit me, knowing the double meaning behind it.

"Oh whatever."

"He's got a point you know" Elton said as he walked down the stairs and I smirked looking in Elton's direction. The house knew that Sams mom didn't know so no one was gonna screw us over. "You get embarrassed all the time. It's so easy, it almost like a game to us." He teased and Sam squeaked hiding himself in my shoulder making me laugh. Allison and his mom laughed as then shook their heads. I wrapped my arm around him loosely as I laughed, knowing I couldn't pull him closer to me. He whined and curled up close to me instinctively and I smiled. His mom watched curiously and I saw Allison freeze, but we couldn't do much about it. Not really anyway. He took a deep breath and sighed as he got enough of the blush to go away that he didn't look like a tomato with blond hair. He fixed his hair a bit and shook his head, and I knew what he wanted to do, I knew what he was thinking. God this was gonna be harder than I thought.

We sat and talked for awhile, then we played rocket league with Allison while their mom watched us. Ally had purposely put herself between Sam and I which made it a little easier, but it was still hard. I wanted to hold him in my arms and pet his head and litter soft kisses along his face while he giggled and held his bunny. That would have to wait until later tonight; however, since his mom wanted to hang out with us until an hour before dinner. Allison has somehow convinced her that they should do dinner just the two of them.

"Alright alright I can take a hint," I raised an eyebrow slightly in confusion, but let it go as we stood up and said our goodbyes. As they walked down the hall I had Amanda pick Sam up and take him upstairs since he had started playing with his clothes. I followed his family to walk them out, and Allison walked outside while his mother turned to me and hugged me again whispering.

"You two need to stop hiding. He can tell me, I'm not gonna hate him" before turning and walking out. I stood there in shock for a moment before waving goodbye and closing the door. She knew? She knew about my relationship with Sam. Had we been that obvious? I mean I wouldnt be surprised if he had been considering we were inseparable on a daily basis. I leaned up against the door and couldn't help but smile. Sam would be happy to know his mom didn't care about us being together. As I was letting my mind wonder I heard the thud of someone hopping down the stairs. There was a giggle and I opened my eyes and saw Sam standing at the bottom of the stairs in a bunny onesie while he held the bunny he had been coloring with.

"Hi baby boy." I said with a smile making him giggle again. I walked over to him and picked him up in my arms, and he wrapped his legs around my waist as he nuzzled the side of neck making me smile. "You feel more comfortable now"

"Yep!" He squeaked and he giggled again as Amanda came downstairs with a smile.

"He was trying to claw his way out of his room" she said with a laugh. I looked at sam in surprised and her glared at Amanda.

"You said you wouldn't rat me out" he whined and she giggled.

"You tried to claw out of your room?" I asked and he whimpered before nodding. I shook my head and popped him on his ass making him yelp. "You know better than that." He nodded and pouted as he looked at me with soft eyes.

"I's sorry daddy" he spoke softly and I nodded, kissing the top of his head.

"I know you are baby. Now how about some dinner?"

"Ya! Candy!" I laughed and shook my head.

"You know the rules, dinner first then candy." He pouted and I ruffled his hair. Then Elton came downstairs.

"What if I made you a burger?" I watched his eyes light up and he nodded.

"Yes please uncle elty!" I smiled and looked at Elton who just nodded at me knowing I was gonna thank him. I waked over and sat on the couch with Sam in my lap. He giggled and snuggled closer to me gently making the bunny dance lazily as I kissed his forehead. He was so precious like this and he knew seeing Sam like this could make any of his moods brighter
