Lost and....Found?

Sams POV

We spent months looking for him. We checked all of his usual hiding spots, and the lake he used to sit by when he was stressed, but found nothing. He had even left his phone so I couldn't text tor call or track him. None of us knew where he had gone and I was broken over it. After 5 months I gave up and just locked myself in my room, eating occasionally and snuggling in his hoodies as I cried multiple, multiple times. I didn't know what I was going to do without him, I didn't know how I could live without him. No one talked to me for awhile, but then this girl, a friend of Corey's, would come comfort me every day. Some days she would just sit there and make sure I took care of myself, giving me food and reminding me to shower. And other days she would talk me through it, talk me through the pain and confusion, take my mind off of most of it, she was even able to make me laugh a few times. She was able to get me through it, help me feel safe and loved, and that girl's name was Shelby. 

Five Years Later 

Shelby and I have become really really close friends, she was my best friend at this point. She had helped me get through Colby leaving and had reminded me of all the people I have helped and continue to help, so I got back into Youtube. I had helped Elton with a fundraiser for shelter dogs, for cancer, and for the LGBTQ+ community, and the four of us, Elton, Corey, Shelby and I have been traveling the world together. We helped people in other countries and did all kinds of crazy stunts and pranks and it felt nice, it felt normal. There were always moments I was reminded of Colby and I slipped into that dark space that Shelby always dug me out of. it was perfect. Right now Shelby and I were walking through the Grove shopping and laughing, she glanced over and noticed I was fiddling with the sliver ring I was still wearing and she sighed 

"Why are you still wearing that thing?" She asked me softly as she looked at me. 

"Because I always have hope that he'll somehow come stumbling back into my life, and I want to believe he would never break his promise." Shelby laughed a little and ruffled my hair. 

"My girlfriend will tell you you're crazy." 

"I know, she has" I said laughing as I smiled and we were walking past Hot Topic when I heard a grunt and someone was running out of the allyway covered in cuts and bruises with a panicked expression and they crashed right into me, knocking me to the ground. "what the-?" Then I looked up and I was greeted by blue fringed hair, a face covered in bruises and cuts and the unmistakable sharp blue eyes. "Colby?!" I asked in shock and his eyes widened when he saw me, then there was more shouting and Colby was up and running again. "Wait!" I Pushed myself up and saw two guys in black with knives running toward us. I looked at Shelby and she nodded as she tackled one guy and I tackled the other. We each pulled the knives from them and beat the crap out of them and made sure they couldn't get back up as cops pulled up. Shelby looked at me and nodded telling me I could go after him. I turned and ran after him and could just barely see him running, thank god for my track days was what I thought as I picked up speed and caught up to him as he was about to duck into an ally. I grabbed his arm and both of us ducked in the ally. At first he pushed me up against the wall and pulled out his switchblade. I looked at him more in shock when I finally saw how bad he looked. When he realized it was me he put the blade down and started to back away but I grabbed his arm again. "No...don't.......I don't think I could go through losing you again." I just barely whispered, and that caught his attention. My hair had red streaks in my hair and there was probably more pain across my face, but it all must have clicked for him as he cupped my face in his hands. 

"Sam..?" he asked softly and I sighed as I smiled and looked at him. He smiled softly and looked at me in slight shock. "How...why....?" Then he saw the ring on my finger and he looked at it. "Is that..?"

"The one you gave me before the video? Yeah, I've been wearing it since." 

"Why? I just left you and-" I cut him off kissing him sweetly and he instantly pressed me up against the wall as he kissed back as I wrapped my arms around his waist. We kissed for a few minutes with full happiness and longing and passion. When he slowly and reluctantly he brushed my hair out of my face. 

"I will never, and I mean never, stop loving you" He smiled and sighed as he rested his forehead against mine. 

"I thought...I thought she took you away from me." 

"Honey shes gay" I said laughing as I held him close. " She helped me get back on my feet so I could get through life, but you have never left my mind." He sighed and nodded as he ran his fingers through my hair. 

"Good. Let's go on a ride then so we can catch up, and by we I mean you since I've been watching every single video you've been in." I smiled and nodded as I hugged him tightly and he picked me up and carried me through the ally way and headed to where his bike was parked. I texted Shelby and told her I was catching up with Colby and she just sent a bunch of squeals of excitement. He smiled and set me in his bike before handing me a helmet and then he put one on himself and hopped on the bike. I instantly wrapped my arms around his waist and we drove off to somewhere peaceful to catch up.
