Mackenzie's POV
"Mackenzie, come on get out of bed!" My sister, Maddie, begged for the tenth time already.
"No!" I replied sadly.
I didn't want to get out of bed. I never do anymore, I've been here for two days now. Well, except for going to the bathroom and getting food I've been here.
"Mackenzie, I understand you miss him but, this isn't how you're supposed to handle this," Maddie says, sitting at the edge of my bed. "Kenz, Johnny will come back. He even said it himself-"
"Ya, when he comes back I'll probably be away for college or something because he said he's coming back in two years," I mutter bitterly.
Maddie sighs and rubs my back. "I get it, you're upset but, this isn't healthy. I know now you can't talk to him but, that'll be over soon. Right?" Maddie says.
I shake my head. "He can't talk for over a year," I muttered.
John and his family moved to a remote place somewhere across the world for their dad's job. Nobody knows where they are exactly, but because of this they can't have electronic communication for just about a year.
Maddie sighs again, this time laying down next to me. Wrapping both of her arms around me and pulling me to her chest.
"Everything will be fine. I promise. I bet Carson is having a tough time too," Maddie stated.
Carson is my friend. He's apart of my friend group, within this group contains Annie LeBlanc, Hayden Summerall, Brynn Rumfallo, Lexi Jayde, Jacob Sartorious, Mark Thomas, Johnny Orlando and Lauren Orlando.
Carson dated Lauren, John's sister. Now that they're gone, we're both sad sacks according to our friends and families.
I sighed, putting my head back on my pillow, digging my face even further into it than before.
"I miss him though," I muttered.
"I know but, it'll get better I promise," Maddie reassured. "Distance makes the heart grow fonder."
I look up at my sister. Shooting her an 'Are you serious?' Look.
"Madz, I love you but, you and I both know that's bullshit."
"I don't know what to say Kenzie. I'm sorry you're hurting. But, you need to get back to reality. Schools tomorrow and you need to start going back to your usual self. Even if that means you put on a fake smile for a little bit. Just try," Maddie explains.
I just nod. Laying there after she gets up and leaves my room.
I sighed and rolled over. I picked my phone up and looked through my notifications. Seeing all my other friends, not Lauren or John though.
I sighed and closed my phone. Staring up at the ceiling.
"Just get up, it's what he'd want me to do," I say to myself.
I repeat it over and over again, until finally I get up. I walk over to my bathroom and turn on the shower. Running the hot water as I stripped from my, well, Johns clothes he had left here and get into the shower.
I wash my hair and body. After awhile I just stand there. My arms wrapped around my body, covering my breasts and just stand there. I let the water run over my body as I just stand there and daze off.
I suddenly feel arms wrap around me. Intense up and turn around, seeing John behind me smiling.
"Hey baby," he whispers. "I love you like this."
He starts kissing me. Traveling down to my neck, then to my breasts. Spending sometime there, he then trails down my stomach, reaching my legs.
He looks up at me and smiled, "Mackenzie," he says.
"Mackenzie"
"Mackenzie"
"Mackenzie"
I flinched, looking around. I am still in the shower. Now the water has been turned off and a towel has been wrapped around my body. Instead of John there, it was my sister and my mother.
"What happened?" I ask weakly.
"You took a shower and you were in there for over an hour honey," Mom says, wrapping a towel around me. Drying my hair with it.
"Oh," I drift off. Thinking about what had happened.
"Hey, at least you got a shower," Maddie says. Trying her best to lighten the mood.
"Why don't you get change and come downstairs. I'll make you something to eat," Mom suggests.
I nodded and follow her instructions. The two of them had left, so I started to get ready. Drying myself off and getting changed.
Slipping on jeans, Johnny's hockey jersey and a pair of socks. I dried my hair and put them in two French braids.
I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. Inside is my mother and Maddie. They had food on the table and next to them was a box.
"What's the box?" I question.
"I don't know, it's for you," Maddie shrugged.
