The Search

***********Lyka POV**********

                    Thirty days had passed nang ganon- ganon lang, but today I got my reward. For the last few days, nang pangungulit ko sa kanya nonstop at least today he gave up. One thing na naging tama sa lahat ng mali ay ang magkaroon ako ng mga bagong found friends. Atina, Grace and Brook were all nice. The first time they saw me became a big wide opening para mang asar sila kay Leon. It was from them kung sa papaano ko nalaman ang name ng seer na sinusundan ko. Fortunately they are all seers,  but si Leon ang superior sa lahat. Jackpot! Mukang tama ang pagpili ko, I can feel it matutulungan ako ng seer na ito. It was them who taught me about the basic of being a ghost. The talent that I can possessed if I’m proper train. The three of them offer their help and finally I achieve most of the ghostly powers as they call it. I can see very far away, I can trace Leon wherever he goes, I can penetrate the wall, and I can do sort of stuff. At first Leon was not very pleased. But as time goes by he suddenly take an interest in me. 

             “Let’s talk when we both got home!” Ang sabi niya sa akin sabay hand signal that says QUIET DOWN, or SHUT UP, dipende sa gusto mong paliwanag.

************Leon POV***********

                It was curiosity that got me! Iyon ang paulit-ulit kong sabi sa sarili ko. But it was never the curiosity that got me alam ko yun, may ibang reason why I took some interest about her. Kung ano man iyon ay sa ngayon hindi ko alam. I just have to confirmed it and no other choice but to help her. I took the risked, hindi ko alam kung anong trouble itong pinapasok ko pero I still took the risk. Sabi nga nila how would you not know the outcome if you won’t try? We will see the outcome I just hope it’s not that ugly.

                  The day went blurry fast. Another thing that I discover is how incredibly smart this ghost. We had an exam for the paranormal ideas, and she almost answered half the question of my test papers. She read a lot, yun ang explanation ng tanungin ko kung bakit niya alam ang exams namin. Nakakapagtaka kasi hindi ko naman siya katulad, hindi rin nagtataglay ng Infinitus, hindi rin siya pumapasok sa school na katulad ko.

She told me na kapag hindi ko siya pinapansin, kapag natutulog ako she took time na basahin ang textbooks on my desk, palipas oras. Fun fact about being a ghost, you can’t sleep, you don’t have to. 

            It was her reaction that tips me off. It was when the 30th of the month came, that she acted weird. She was tensed and that makes her double kulit. In her face was an alarm that she loses thirty precious days. Para bang may time limit siya na hinahabol. 

           I finish my exams earlier than the rest, so we got home early. The only way to find out what her ghostly mind is thinking is to open a crack, in my case gave her the help she’s pleading for those thirty days.

           I sat across my bed and she was sitting on the chair facing me. She was really totally different, most ghost don’t have reflection on the mirror, pero siya meron, full and clear.

          “Hindi ka talaga titigil noh?” Ang tanong ko sa kanya.

          “No!” Ang nakangiti niyang sagot.

            That proves how desperate and kulit she is.

          “Okay! Talo na ako! I’m Leon you are?”

 I ask her with formality tone. Actually she knows my name, I just want to confirm hers.

           “Lyka!” She said with sweet voice.

          “Well let’s make this formal. I’m Leon a seer and today I agree to help you, deal!?” I then stretch my hand towards her.

          “Deal!” She said as our hands clasp.
