A Thousand Miles

The Lady in Red

     It was not very easy to enter the Academy.

First part is that masyadong maraming kwento at tanong si madam kung bakit kami ay biglang sumulpot sa academy without any occasion at plan. But thanks to my good friends we finally make it through. Why not si Atina pa, ang daming alibi na hindi mo pagdududahan, and si Grace kept quiet most of the time, while si Brook, ayun cheeky inlove sa girlfriend niya.

  

    As Madam invited us for a tea at the parlor, I took action.

“Would you mind if I skip the tea party? It’s just it’s been a long three years since I came here, so I want to just take my time and savor the place and this moment.” Then I flashes my white killing smile.

“Of course not! Go ahead and enjoy!” Ang biglang sagot ni madam.

     As they proceed to the parlor I started walking through the path where the Greenhouse is located. Then I notice it.

   The place is open and it seems like there is a party going on inside.

   Pano na ito?

   I wasn’t expecting this to happen.

  But I gather all my courage and proceed.

   “She is there! I know she is!” I repeatedly chant at myself.

A MASQUERADE PARTY

   The sign on the left side of the glass door.

There is a booth that holds several kinds of mask and it is requiredfor someone to wear if that someone wants to be part of the event.

I selected one carefully that only covers my eyes only and enter the party.

It was  a lively one, and some of the guest are girls and almost everyone wears red.

I was a bit standing out. What with what I was wearing…………

But awkwardness has no place for my pride right now! I have a mission and I came for a reason.

The party is becoming livelier each walk that I take.

Then it happens.

    The ring on my finger is now glowing, but it seems like I was the only one who can see it.

Then I saw her.

The girl that was wearing a full mask.

Looking at me!

And wearing the red shining ring.
