Child's Play

           A gift or a curse? A blessing or a dilemma? That’s the same question that I’m struggling to answer for seventeen years. 

           I’m Leon John Filcher, seventeen and the only son of a well successful businessman in our community, a multi billionaire. I live in a total well off life.

My mother is a well known popular designer. That’s the catch, for seventeen years I live ALONE. :(

           I live in a house that will fit a whole community, actually it’s a ranch at the end of section of the community. Very far from the city and very near to nature. My family owns exactly the half of the community. I was, as they say a good looking child.

Maputi, may charming smile, black hair, brown eyes and possess a good height, well being the tallest in my class, I drew attention. I attend in an exclusive school, which my parents built for special kinds of child like me. School ng mga ABNORMAL ba ika mo? Hindi noh!

Normal school yun, but with special kids. Mga katulad ko, na may talent and special gift as they put it. 

            Sa community naming hindi nab ago ang ganitong issue. May mga piling-piling mga bata na ipinapanganak ng may special blessing kay Lord. Yun ang tingin nila, but the reality is much cruel than stories. Ang mga katulad naming won’t fit in sa komunidad.

Kakaiba kami, may mali sa amin, may hindi dapat. Yan ang karaniwang sinasabi ng mga taong may makitid na utak. Hindi kami normal, hindi dapat ganito ang isang normal na bata.

But my parents, despite of being criticized look at it in different angle. 

        Sabi ng mama ko when I came to their life I was a blessing, no more, no less. Despite of their busy schedule, naisingit parin nila ang planuhin ang magkaroon kami ng buhay na hindi nalalayo sa normal na mga bata. Kung kaya itinayo nila ang *Bloomsburry School*.

Ang school ay exclusive para sa mga katulad ko na bata na may oddness sa katawan. We are all co-existing with each other sharing things, and powers, or gifts, bahala na kayo kung ano ang itatawag duon. My parents call it Infinitus. In the school we are divided according to our elemental Infinitus, actually the basic element.

The Fiero Infinitus, The Aqua Infinitus, Aire Infinitus, Tierra Infinitus, and lastly my classification The Vaciar Infinitus . Yun ang section ng bawat class sa school. To make it more basic at madaling intindihin, The Fire section, The Water section, The Air section, The Land section , and lastly The Hollow section.

               Each section was composed of kids according to their special ability. Ang entrance exam ng school ay hindi based sa academic score. Before you are admitted to the school, you are tested to what you can do. The school is a dormitory school, meaning ang lahat ng papasok sa school na ito ay obligated na tumira sa loob ng school, rich dorm style, well maliban sa akin. Papaano ba naman katabi lang ng bahay namin ang school kaya pwede akong umuwi.

Two times a year lang pwedeng lumabas ang student para makita ang parents nila, first ay during the Snow Holiday, Christmas ang tawag ng iba duon. Next ay during the Light and Dark Holiday (HALLOWEEN).

      Back to the topic, each student is admitted to what he or she can do. The same goes for the mentors that are applying. Your Infinitus will decide where you will be sleeping for the next twelve years. At kapag masipag ka ang twelve years ay madadagdagan pa ng another few years according sa College course na kukunin mo. The good thing every graduate in the school is admitted to work in several companies that my dad are operating.

My dad always says na imbes makita kami na parang salot, we should be treated as a special asset to every department of the community. Ayon sa mga critic’s ang pagtanggap ng aking ama sa mga katulad ko ay ang dahilan ng biglang pagyaman ng aming angkan. Ang nagdadala raw ng biglaang pag-unlad sa mga negosyo ng aking ama ay ang mga magic ng mga katulad ko. Hindi ko alam kung totoo yun, ang aking ama ay deadma lang sa mga sinasabi ng tao. Sabi nga niya kung gusto mong umunlad kaylangan mong maging matatag at manhid sa lahat. Hindi lang sa kumpanya ng aking ama tinatanggap ang mga graduates ng school namin. Si mama ay meron din sariling negosyo, As I told you she is a popular designer. She operated the BLAZE DESIGNS for how many years ay hindi ko alam. Lahat ng ito ay nakakalat sa buong mundo, my mom got her designer in our very own school.

Beneficial hindi ba? Syempre nakakataba ng puso ang malaman na pwede kaming mabuhay ng normal at maunlad sa mundo, kasama ang mga tao na kulang nalang ay isuka kami. 

          So it was built to help my kind. Unfortunately my parents are just normal human. They don’t posses gifts or cursed to how you put it. At dahil sa sobrang busy nila sa pagtulong sa mga katulad ko, nakalimutan na yata nila na may anak sila. Sa pagkakatanda ko, nang ipinanganak ako ng aking mama ay dumiretso na ako sa pangangalaga ng aking nana. Si nana Marie, ay isang nanny na may Infinitus. She took care of me, nurse me and raise me.

My parents rarely come home, even on special occasion, even in my birthday. Okay lang yun, alam ko naman na hindi dahil hindi nila ako mahal kung bakit hindi sila nakakauwi, kundi dahil busy lang talaga. 

     They call me if they can, send me gifts at kapag may hiniling ako, bigay agad sila. Ang sarap ng buhay ko pero alam ko na may kulang sa akin.

Pero kahit ganoon wala naman akong magagawa, kung hindi ang maghintay at umasa. !_!
