I laid in bed, covering myself with my mother's silk sheets. The canopy above me reminded me of a starry night. Ophelia had loved the outdoors at night, I could feel it in my heart. Everything something new of her was introduced to me it felt like I could feel her rejoicing in my heart. She had wanted me to see everything she had to go through while ruling over the Grave Angels and now that I did, she felt at bliss. Slowly I fell into slumber.

I was in the Grave Angel palace roaming the halls looking for something. I couldn't remember exactly what it was, but something inside me was letting me know that it was important. I continued down the hall until I saw a familiar woman standing in the doorway of my mother's chamber. I called out to her, but my voice sounded distant, as if coming from somewhere else.

~"Ophelia!? Mother!? Is that you!?"~

She smiled and turned to walk inside the room. I quickly took off after her to see the bookcase Celeste showed me opening and Ophelia walk inside. I ran down the stairs, but she wasn't in the room. Then a clicking sound came from underneath the case that help my special copy of 'Shadow Demons'. I crawled under to see a ladder leading down. I hesitated before seeing a slim hand beckoning me to climb down.

Slowly I stepped down the ladder until I was inside a long tunnel. At the end was a bright light and a dark figure. Quickly I ran down the tunnel until I was blinded. When my eyes focused, a room with a pentagram painted on the ground came to my attention. Ophelia sat in the middle. A key laid in front of her.

She smiled and picked it up, holding it out to me. Before my fingers wrapped around it everything went black and I could hear a voice calling out to me.

"Midnight! Midnight wake up!"

I opened my eyes and looked up to see Masami hovering above me smiling. She was dressed in training gear and had her sword in its sheath across her back. I looked around to try and get a clue on what time it was, but had no chance with the dark black curtains covering the windows.

"Gah Masami, what time is it?"

"Oh, just six in the morning. Do you wanna train with me?"

I ran my hand across my face, trying to chase away the drowsiness.

"Yeah sure, let me just, find my training gear and sword."

I rolled out of bed and headed toward my changing screen. As I passed the fake bookcase I got a sudden urge to go down into my storage room instead. I studied the false book until Masami broke me out of my trance.

"Hey Midnight, you okay there?"

I shook my head as if I was under a spell. It felt like there was something important I needed to do down there. I ignored it and continued toward the screen. I quickly changed and headed out the room with Masami by my side. We walked the halls as more people started to stir and run around starting the day. We walked outside to training ground to see Nate waiting for us with a young man.

The closer we got the more I noticed his animal characteristics. He had green eyes with slits and a forked tongue. he had a large reptile tail trailing behind him. Then I noticed the large leather wings pressed against his back.

"Midnight, I want you to meet Logan Tharos. His family are dragon spirits."

Logan held out his hand and took mine in it. He bowed and softly kissed my knuckles. My face flushed red as Masami and I entered the arena to start warming up on practice dummies. Nate and Logan stood at the edge of the field talking to a guard.

~"You saw Miracle and Novae?"~

~"Yes sir. Over by the former Hyperion manor."~

~"What do you think we should do Logan?"~

~"Honestly, I think we keep training until Midnight is powerful enough to take on an entire army."~

~"Alright then. Joseph, you and your team keep an eye on Miracle and alert us the moment she leaves that clearing."~

~"Sir!"~

~"You are dismissed."~

The guard turned on his heel and walked away, leaving the four of us alone. Masami and I finished our warm up and walked to the center of the arena. We stood across from each other at swords length. That's when I looked into her eyes and noticed a determination in them. She wanted to kick my ass. I smiled softly and called out to her.

"No holding back alright!"

"Oh trust me! I won't!"

We clinked our swords together and began to go at each other. We went back and forth until Masami knocked my sword out of my hand a across the arena. I looked at her shocked and then smiled. Quickly she ran at me until I dodged swiftly and landed on my hands and knees. Masami looked at me with wide eyes. I smiled as I slowly transformed into my wolf state.

Soon I was standing two feet taller than her. I snarled and let out a loud howl, causing her to drop to the ground in pain. Slowly I reverted back to my original form and helped her up. She was quietly laughing to herself as Nate and I led her inside.

"Wow Midnight, you really got the drop on me that time. I didn't even know you could change into a wolf."

"Neither did I..."

I looked over at Nate who was staring at the ground. His face was masked with fear, but his eyes held pure excitement.

"Is something wrong Nate?"

He looked at me with a crazed look then at Masami.

"No, everything is okay, its just, Ophelia didn't have the ability to change into a wolf."

The it felt like all of Spirit Realm grew deathly quiet.
