We stared at the last part. She told Nate she loved him. Slowly Nate turned away and walked out of the room. I watched him leave without a word until I noticed a small inscription in the back cover.

~Your wings will take you high to win his love.~

I looked at it carefully until my back grew hot. Suddenly my shirt felt tight as if I was struggling to stay in it. I started coughing and choking. I fell to the ground when I saw Nate turning back toward my room.

"Help me! Please!"

Nate saw me on the floor and ran through the open doors. He kneeled beside me as I grasped at my shirt neckline and started pulling at it. Nate had stopped helping. He was standing up and staring at my back. I didn't understand what was happening, I just wanted someone to help me. Then carefully he pulled out a knife and cut my shirt off me.

My entire torso felt relieved until something large and grey landed on both sides of me. Nate covered his mouth as his eyes filled with tears. I stood up as he whispered something to himself.

"I can't believe she actually did it."

I looked at him confused and turned toward a mirror. Before me was the reflection of me, but two large grey wings over-loomed me so much that you couldn't even seen the ends of the wings in the mirror. I looked back at Nate and he was shaking. I could smell. The fear.

"Nate? Are you okay?"

He looked at me scared and nodded his head yes.

"Yeah Midnight, everything is fine."

He walked toward me and held me. I couldn't comprehend what was happening and neither could he. We stayed wrapped in each other's arms in silence until he finally spoke up.

"I understand why she would do something so drastic like this."

"What do you mean?"

"Ophelia wanted to even out the fight between Miracle and you, so she experimented with the DNA of an angel to make sure you survive. No magic nor weapon can kill you. You'll just heal yourself. Only one weapon can kill you, but no one in Physical Realm or Spirit Realm knows what it is because they don't know angels actually exist. Only that we're stories from a religion."

I looked at Nate. His fear was slowly fading, as if telling me these things were more toward him instead. I moved away from his arms and to the mirror. I was an alpha wolf, my large ears, bushy tail and red eyes gave that away. But now I also had a golden hue to my skin and large grey wings that gave away that I was also an angel. I was no an outsider from the rest of Spirit Realm. I wasn't even the same as Nate.
