Chapter 51
" Do you like it? " dad said, knowing I love it. My suregery , I mean.
They weren't that mad at me. I was just scorned at and glared at for oh, 30 to 90 minutes. Then I got the surgery. No, THE surgery. The one that every S.S.O trainee get right before a mission.
" Are you kidding? I love it!" Sam exclaimed before I could.
The surgery consist of placing chips in our body. One in each eye. One in each ear. One in both nostrils. Our whole hands and feet are covered with chips. And several on our lips and brains, just the comunication thingy part so the chips won't take us over if there's something wrong with the system. And it's cool because their micro-chips, so you can't see them or feel them, nor can you wipe them off, cause they're under your skin.
We're walking back to the elevator to get outside with the Fonsuares. Now, I can see that the parents aren't nervous or have twichy fingers, they're working. They are typing away reports and controlling some rocket scientist project that I don't understand with their fingers while muttering commands to their colleauges.
Yep, the chips in the sense allow communication between agents with distances between here and Pluto. Not really nessacery, but I don't care, it's cool. Mom could taste something yummy in france and send it to me so I can have a sample taste exactly like the real food, except I won't be full. Or I can make a yucky dough and feel it and send the touch to Sam while closing my eyes so he won't know what I'm feeling and tell him it's poo. Ha ha ha. I'm gonna do that sometime.
The chips in the eyes allow to see the virtual technology that non spies aren't supposed to see when we're working in public places. You can also press the invisible button so what you are doing will bekept away from everyone, including spies.. And there's a wifi chip in my feet so I can surf the web when I'm bored with out having to turn on my laptop and it's like 10 G network or something. The only downside is there's a tracking chip in every agent to prevent double spies and stuff. Good thing that it's confidential, or I won't be able to sneak out and stir up trouble.
" Hello, any body home? " sam's voice said in my brain. It's going to take me a long time to get used to that. oh, did I forgot to mention you can talk with each other inside the brains. It comes in handy if you want to talk to your teamates while everone is, oh, i dont know, kidnapped and ductaped.
" I"m here, Did I space out again?"I replied back in my mental voice
" yup," the elevator dinged and we're in that apartment building again. Shesh, I really need to stop spacing out, I could get killed or something. We walk outside and the parents' twiching becomes less noticable. Our cars pull up with 2 guys behind the wheels. The parents stop twiching and greeted them like old friends. I think everyone's friends in the spy bussiness, you know, cause they say people bond over life threating experiences.
After several minutes of hugging,( no introductions, they probably know everything about me)we step into the cars. The Smiths in the car and us and the Fonsuare in the van.
I did my French home work in the van, after turning on the invisible hologram, with the help of some translating website and the worksheet was done.
