Tikki's P.O.V:
I looked back towards the dock. What was it that human was calling ladybug?...
"Marinette?" I questioned myself. Ladybug quickly turned and looked at me, as if answering to the name I called out. Both our eyes widened and we stayed silent for a moment.
After a couple seconds of silence I spoke. "So that's your human name... Marinette..."
Ladybug nodded. "Mother let someone name me, but it says Marinette Dupain-Cheng on my birth certificate" she smiled faintly and continued swimming towards the kingdom. I knew her mother allowed someone to name her, because I named her.
Nethaniel swam over to ladybug "Ladybug! My dearest..." she quietly groaned and I held back a giggle. "Where have you been? The kingdom has been terribly worried" I quickly took over. "Excuse me, the queen does not have time nor the patience to answer personal questions about her life from commoners, now move along." Nethaniel quickly swam away and Marinette sighed with relief.
"Thanks Tikki" she said, a sense of relief in her voice. I nodded with a grin and we continued swimming into the castle.
3rd person P.O.V:
Coral was pacing the room, worrying. Tomorrow was her coronation. She would be queen soon enough and she hadn't seen ladybug or Tikki for a whole day! What if something happened to them?! She turned to address the guards, asking them to find them but as she turned she noticed a glimmer of red and black in the corner of her eye and gasped.
Without hesitation, she swam over to the blur of colours and bumped right into ladybug. Ladybug widened her eyes at the unexpected bump and turned to see Coral, but before she had the time to greet her sister Coral spoke up.
"LADYBUG! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I WAS SO WORRIED!"
Ladybug giggled quietly and hugged her sister "don't worry about me Coral. Worry about yourself and the kingdom. So long as you are protected and the people are safe and happy, you don't need to worry about anything" ladybug gently pulled out of the embrace and smiled proudly at her younger sister.
Tikki was getting a little riled up over the whole situation and rushed inbetween the sisters. "Sorry to interrupt you two... BUT WE HAVE A CORONATION TO PUT TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW!" She screamed before going back to smiling calmly. She swam over to some guards. "You three are helping me on decorating committee, you two ladies, go help Coral get ready, ladybug you do her hair. Now go go go!"
They all rushed off to do as they were told but ladybug couldn't stop laughing. "Why are you laughing ladybug?" Coral questioned, a little shaken up. "Because Tikki is always like this at coronations! She's calm all the time, but when it comes to coronations she's worse than you and you're a stress head" ladybug winked teasingly at her sister and she gasped. "Hey, I am not a stress head! I just.., I just worry more about things... because I care!"
"Be careful on who you decide to care about though, Coral. It could completely jeopardise your time as a ruler. That's why I was never interested in relationships or finding a king to rule by my side"
Coral took in what she was being advised about. She needed all the help she could get.
She'd be the queen tomorrow...
