3rd Person P.O.V:

Lillian and Ladybug raced to the palace and went to swim in when the guards threw there weapons in front of Lillian, blocking her entry. "Halt! Who goes there?!"

Ladybug stopped and looked back.

"Guards. That is my friend, Lillian. Let her pass". The guards looked at one another, dumbfounded before moving their weapons and allowing the mermaid to pass. "Thank you." She stated kindly as she passed by the guards and swam with ladybug, barging into the main hall.

"Ladybug!" Tikki squeaked and hastily swam over. "Where have you been?!" Ladybug opened her mouth to answer but Tikki continued. "Y'know what- I don't want to know! Who's this?! Actually, no. Tell me later! Let's go!" Tikki grasped Ladybug's wrist and pulled her into the back room.

Ladybug's P.O.V:

I gasped and swam against the currents Tikki made, she was swimming so quickly! I rolled through the water into the back room and crashed into the clam couch causing it to close on me in shock. "Gah!"

"W-wow wait ladybug?!" Coral cried out, rushing to the clam. "I'm alright!" I shouted out to the concerned voice. Suddenly the clam opened and I swam out. "Where have you been?!" Before even having time to adjust to the light I had my sister hugging me tightly. "I was worried sick!" I smiled lightly and returned the hug.

"I'm sorry for worrying you, Coral..." I wasn't sure what else to say. I was abandoning my kingdom and passing it down to my little sister so I could go live a human life with my boyfriend and mother...

Tikki nodded lightly and calmly stated "I'll leave you guys alone for a moment..."  before swimming out of the area.

For a while there was silence, before I decided to speak up.

"You're very brave, y'know. At your age there was no way on earth I would have agreed to taking on the role as queen, but then again, I didn't have all the practice like you did..." I fiddled with her braid, adding beads and pearls here and there. "I'm very proud of you, Coral. I know the kingdom is in good hands with you ruling it. You'll make a fine queen..."

Again, there was that echoing silence before Coral finally spoke.

"... Thank you."

I finished with her hair and smiled lightly as the trumpets began to play. I widened my eyes and beamed a smile before taking Corals arm and leading her to the entrance. I whispered to her "Are you ready?"

Again, there was that silence. As if she wasn't sure on the answer, I can't say I blame her though. I'd be the same in her shoes.

"Yes"

Lillian's P.O.V:

I stood as the trumpets began to play, revealing the opening of the ceremony and the royal family entering the room. One by one the princesses entered the room and stood in a row, smiling brightly.

Ladybug and Coral entered, their hair braided sweetly and the crown gently placed on Ladybug's head.

The crown she would be giving up.

I watched ladybug and smiled lightly. I remember her when she was a little girl, minus the fish tail of course. She was such a beautiful little girl, so well mannered. She loved to bake with her mother and father, I suppose she must still love to do so and she is still beautiful, but I don't recall her looking so grown up.

She looks just like her mother.

Sabine... How I miss that woman.

"I, Queen Ladybug, give up my title of Queen of Atlanta, and give it to my sister, Coral. In hope, that she will make this kingdom a happier and safer place for you all to enjoy." Ladybug nodded and slowly took the crown off her head, looking down at her sister. "I believe that she will rule with grace, elegance and kindness. She will be a good queen."

Coral tilted her head down and closed her eyes as Ladybug placed it on her head and whispered something to her. Something others might not have gotten but as a half human and half mermaid I'd learnt to hear quieter noises than a whisper.

"Good luck, sister." Ladybug whispered before bowing down to Coral.

A red seahorse swam out into our sights and spoke. "I'm glad to announce that this coronation is coming to an end, so please, put your hands and fins together and show respect to our new ruler, Queen Coral!"

"Queen Coral!" I repeated in a cheery voice, clapping and grinning like there was no tomorrow. The entire room cried out in applause and cheers.

I was so proud of Marinette.

3rd Person P.O.V:

The coronation ended and everyone made their way out into the courtyard, celebrating. Tikki called out to Ladybug, causing her to stop and abandon the crowd.

They were alone.

"Tikki? Whatever is the matter?" Ladybug asked, clearly concerned for her friend.

"I..." Tikki began, but she had no idea what to say. She took a deep breath and rushed out her sentence. "I'm gonna come with you. To the human world!"

Ladybug's eyes widened and she stared at Tikki, stunned. Tikki continued, "before you begin, I promised your mother when she left that I would stay by your side no matter what. I intend to keep that promise. I'm not about to leave you now. So I'm going to say it again, I'm gonna come with you"

Ladybug sighed "Tikki, I have no issue with you coming with me... but you won't survive on land, you're a seahorse."

"I could help with that..." Lillian stated, swimming towards the two. Ladybug turned and saw her. "Lillian?"

"What do you mean you can help?" Tikki questioned.

"I can change you into something that can survive on earth, if you'd like... but you'd never be able to return to the ocean if I do so." Lillian stated slowly and clearly, making sure her choice was clear.

"I'll do it." Tikki said, without hesitation. "I'm staying with Ladybug."
